✨IZUKU MIDORIYA'S POV✨
_______________________

Kacchan didn't wake up as easy as before. I woke up to him screaming in his sleep, "No! St-stop! It hurts!"

I sat up, pulling him with me which jostled him awake.

"It's okay Kacchan... I've got you..." I whispered gently rocking him as he clung onto me.

It took him a moment, but soon he clung onto me. I sat a while with him rocking and rubbing his back, my other hand gently running through his hair.

"I'm s-sorry..." he whispered, "I'm p-pathetic..."

"No don't say that... you are still my Kacchan... you've been through a lot. You are not pathetic. That word shouldn't be in your vocabulary..." I kissed the top of his head.

"I just..." he broke down into sobs, making my chest ache.

I held him for a while before he calmed down. His trembled slowly subsiding, only shivering every now and then from how hard he had been crying.

"C-can I get dr-dressed?" He asked, looking embarrassed as he realized he was still naked.

"Of course, though I do like looking at you." I smiled, "You're beautiful."

His face was even redder now, but he managed to push himself off my lap and went to grab his pants.

"Wait." I said, getting up I grabbed a bag of clothing from behind the door. "Me and Ochaco got you clothes while you were in the hospital."

I handed him a pair of underwear, a pair of grey sweatpants, and a black t-shirt.

"Thank you..."

"Do you want a shower or a bath first?" I asked.

"Y-yeah... a bath would be nice..." he said softly, I could tell he was pretty nervous still about saying what he wants.

I got up walking to the bathroom and ran a bath. I sprinkled some epson salt in to help relax his joints since he was probably still sore. As I walked back into the bedroom he looked like he was almost panicking on the bed.

"What's wrong?" I asked gently.

He stood, limping a little to me and wrapping his arms around my torso. "I just don't like being alone... I-I know it wasn't long b-but it felt bad..."

I frowned, hugging him back before picking him up and carrying him into the bathroom. I set him gently into the warm water and watched as he almost melted into it.

"I'm glad it feels nice." I smiled a little.

"My hips h-hurt... it helps..." he sighed, laying back against the back rest of the tub.

I pulled my phone out playing soft music on the Bluetooth stereo I had set up in the bathroom, and let him soak for a while. I watched him blankly, all I really could think about was how unreal the past week had been. We found him.

"Deku..." his voice brought me out of my blank trance.

"Yeah Kacchan?"

"I'm starving." He said a bit nervously, his scarred hands picking at his knees.

His knees still looked bad, but they had faded from the almost black color to a purple and brown meaning they were healing. "I'll order us some good food."

I pulled my phone out and ordered through the mobile app for a ramen shop down the road, "Do you still prefer extra spicy?" I asked.

He smirked, I hadn't seen that look in so long, "Yeah."

After I ordered the food and I helped wash Kacchans hair, and his body. I drained the tub and pulled him out wrapping a towel around him. He managed to dry himself off and get dressed but looked exhausted afterwards. I had him sit in front of me as I dried his hair.

"I feel... a lot better after that..." Kacchan had a soft smile on his lips.

"I'm glad."

There was a knock on the door, probably the food. But was surprised to see Kaminari and Kirishima standing there with a look of amazement and excitement.

"We heard Bakugo was alive! Is he here?!" Kirishima basically yelled.

"Yeah he is I'm just not-" Kirishima basically pushed me aside and came into my house Kaminari close behind him.

I watched as they approached Kacchan I seen the panic set in his eyes. Kirishima immediately hugged him while crying.

"Oh my god! BakuBro!"

Kaminari started crying while hugging them both. Kacchan looked as if he was trying to manage but I could tell he was struggling.

"Easy on him please, he's still recovering you know!" I said, as I managed to separate everyone.

Kirishima looked at Kacchan and then back at me and his expression changed, "I'm so sorry! We didn't even call, we should have given a heads up!"

"Would have been nice to have a small warning at least." I said scratching at the back of my head.

Kacchan managed to sneak partially behind me, "Hey, are you scared of me? Bro... I'm sorry! I totally didn't even think about what all happened!" Kirishima panicked, collapsing into the floor and bowing towards Kacchan.

"Please forgive us!" Kaminari chimed as he also fell to the floor.

I forgot how close of friends they had been before. They followed Kacchan everywhere.

"Get up. Don't make yourselves look weak on my behalf." Kacchan said, surprising me as it seemed to be his usual annoyed voice.

"See! There he is!" Kirishima yelled getting up on his knees and smiling big.

"Hard to forget you two idiots." Kacchan chuckled, "just... don't be touching me."

Kacchan looked down, his hand had grabbed the back of my shirt, "For now...I just..." I could tell he was trying to hold back crying.

"Maybe we should all hang out when you're feeling up to it?" Kaminari asked, "We could play Mario Cart and order Pizza!"

"That sounds nice..." Kacchan said, "You wouldn't mind?" He looked up at me.

"Of course not! These are your friends, you can do whatever you want Kacchan!" I replied, trying to make him feel at ease.

"MidoBro can come too if you'd like BakuBro!" Kirishima said smiling big again.

"We will catch up! Feel better Kats!!" Kaminari yelled as him and Kirishima piled out the door just as our food arrived.

"Okay let's eat." I said holding the bags up.

Kacchan smiled, and I felt my stomach flip. His smile could fuel my whole day.
