"The Statue of Liberty has been showing off on Liberty Island since October 28, 1886. Originally, the copper statue was a gift from the French people to congratulate the Americans with their independence and to celebrate the abolition of slavery. It was designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and built by the famous Gustave Eiffel. They chose the Roman goddess Libertas who holds a torch above her head and holds in her right arm a tabula ansata on which the date (July 4, 1776) of the Declaration of Independence is registered. Soon the image grew into a symbol of freedom that welcomes foreign immigrants into the United States. Once they started seeing this giant statue, it wouldn't take much longer before they had arrived on Ellis Island where they were checked before they could enter the country. It's estimated that more than 12 million immigrants passed through this checkpoint between 1892 and 1954."the park ranger says while giving us our tour.

We already visited the museum and the pedestal. We're headed to the crown now.

"It's beautiful." I gush as I look at the view from the Crown of the statue.

"You're beautiful neonata."Zach kisses my forehead and I blush.

Luke-"Ugghh. I can't with you two."

Zach-"Shut it Luke ."

After the tour we walk around Liberty island.

Neva-"You just be showing off on the rest of us."she gestures to the hickeys.

Zach, Rick, Chris and Luke are waking behind us girls engulfed into their own conversation.

Me-"No I'm not, babes."

Cassie-"Rick told me that Zach's planning an extravagant date for you tonight."

"He told me it's a surprise." I look behind me and smile at him, he realizes and smiles back then starts talking again.

Neva-"Zachery Alastair Lane, planning an actual date. Guess there is a first time for everything."

I feel my phone vibrate. I look at the message and a smile made its way to face.

Yana-"What is it."

Me-"It's Kyro. He said he's coming next week."

Neva-"Really? And he didn't think to mention that to me? All he told me was that he's coming."

Neva and my brother have a long distance relationship. 6 months into knowing her, I made her talk to Kyro when he finally had free time from all his practices and wasn't exhausted or asleep. She would ask me a million times. She saw pictures of him on his ig and ones I'd send her. She had a huge crush on him so I told him. They hit it off well after that and practically started off their long distance relationship from there, but I guess it won't be so long distanced in a week. (He was 16 when they started dating)

Me-"Maybe he wanted to surprise you."

Neva-"Or maybe he's just an asshole."

I shrug, laughing at how mad she looks. She walks away going on her phone, probably to call him. They're so cute. I shipped them since day one.

"Hey wockesha." I turn facing a grinning Zach.

Luke-"Amy got that taste like candy, sweet like fruit pus- "

Zach-"Don't forget the wet like water."

Me-"Y'all are so nasty."
