The Elite ten members are all sitting around a circular table for quite some time now
"It's that time of the year again."
A member of the Elite ten opened up a new topic, referring to the annual camp training
"Yes, and I propose to have it earlier than the usual date."
The others turned towards the tenth seat, deeply skeptical of her motives
"Oh? Why is that?"
"There are those who will rise and those who will fall at the academy. Wouldn't it be better to weed out the weak and focus on those who have potential instead of wasting time?" Erina confidently stated
The group talked about it some more before coming with a decision
The members looked at one another and nodded. Seeing that the pros outweighs the cons
"I don't see an issue so I suppose we can make the arrangements as soon as possible. They will be notified by the end of the day."
And with that, the meeting came to an end

"Camp training?" Soma curiously looked at a pamphlet
"It's the first cycle of hell." The ever so smart marui said. Megumi shaking in the background
"All first-years will be tasked with gruelling cooking projects and if we don't earn a passing score, we face immediate expulsion!"
Isshiki nodded, "This is where the real selection process begins."
Megumi dramatically says her goodbyes with Yoshino holding her
"No! Megumi!!!"
Ryoko like the big sister she is, comforts the two
"So we can bring shogi and cards but no handheld gaming devices." Soma nonchalantly said, starting to plan for the trip
"Oi Yukihira! How can you be so relaxed?!"
Yoshino yelled
"I read that half of the class will make it. So we just have to make sure we are in that half."
Shun spoke all of a sudden
'Easier said than done!' the others except soma thought
"That's right. I'm also certain that everyone in polar star will come back. Give it your all, Everyone!"
"Let's dominate this camp!"
The faith of their senpai made them determined to pass

Soma and the other first-year residents of Polar star stood in front of The Tōtsuki resort hotel, marveling how grandiose it looks
"T-This is our 'camp' site?!"
It brought him a sense of deja vu
"I'm so excited that we get to stay here!" Yoshino said while holding hands with Megumi and Ryoko
They went to the assembly as soon as they dropped off their bags
'You could probably hear a pin drop here.' Soma casually walks in with everyone, observing the other students whom in return glared at him
Then he noticed familiar short blonde hair in the crowd
"Hey, Nikumi!" He called out
The flustered girl's cheek dusted in pink, "Don't call me that, Yukihira!"
His dormmates looked at him in dismay because of his lax manner
"I bet you're excited for this camp."
