Chapter 26

JiEuns POV

I was walking down the hall to grandma and grandpa's room because I wanted to ask them if they can take me to the park near the school where other kids go to. I've only been there two times when eomma and appa took me, but it was always during the time the other kids were at school so i never got to meet them. That's why I'm asking grandma and grandpa, so they can take me when the other kids are playing there too.

I was now outside grandma and grandpa's room. I heard screaming and I knew from the voice that it was grandma.

Me:" Oh no, grandma's in trouble!"

I was gonna go tell eomma and appa but then an idea came to my head. I will save grandma myself and show everyone that I'm a big girl! I then opened the door and went inside.

Me:"DONT WORRY GRANDMA I'LL SA- Grandpa? What are you doing on top of grandma-Wait...your not grandpa, you must be in a DISGUISE. ATTACK!!"

I knew it wasn't grandpa because grandpa always wears a white suit, and this villain is naked.

I ran to help grandma and the villan started telling me to stop, hahaha he is scared of me, good. I jumped onto the bed and pulled the covers off him so I can push him off the bed. But then.....I saw he has a WAND!!

Me:"LOOK OUT GRANDMA, THE VILLAIN HAS A WAND!!"

I saw the villain getting up and I pushed grandma off the bed and jumped infront of her to save her, but then I heard grandma start yelling.

Grandma:"JEON JIEUN STOP THIS NON SENSE RIGHT. NOW!!"

I then stopped and looked at grandma. She looked very angry at me and I didn't know why. I tried saving her, why is she angry at me? Maybe because I didn't come sooner? I knew I shouldn't have eaten that cupcake before coming here.

Grandma:"Now listen hear young lady, that isn't a villain, that is your grandpa. So stop this playtime and wait outside for us to get ready and we will meet you out there in a bit."

I looked down and walked out. I felt my tears forming in my eyes. Oh no! No they definitely won't take me to the park. I waited patiently for them to come out and finally after a few minutes they did. I looked up at them with my sad eyes and saw grandpa.

Me:"Grandpa! Your okay! Oh no grandpa, you should've seen it, grandma was attacked by a villain that was in disguise as you, and he had a wand and was trying to hurt grandma, but don't worry grandpa I saved grandma. Then grandma got angry at me and the villain ran away. Are you angry at me too?"

My grandpa went down on his knees and now he was the same height as me. He wiped the tears off my face and smiled at me.

Grandpa:"JiEun, sweetheart, even though I am proud that you would help grandma, I must tell you that there was no villain that was disguised as me. That was me sweetie."

I looked at him confused.

Me:"But, you weren't wearing the white suit you always wear."

Grandma and grandpa started laughing.

Grandma:"Oh honey, do you think grandpa wears the suit all the time? How do you think he showers and sleeps? He doesn't wear it all the time."

Me:"but I always see grandpa in a white suit."

Grandpa:"That's because I'm the king, thats my formal attire that I wear. Once I give the position to your appa then I will wear different clothes sweetie."

That somehow makes sense. I don't even know what 'attire' means but I'm guessing it means clothes. Wait, so does that mean his wand is apart of his 'attire'?
