Marnie and Y/n approached Galar mine #1 with their partner pokemon at their sides. They then entered the cavernous area as they saw miners and alot of rock type pokemon or just generic cave pokemon. After the pair of Spikemuth trainers destroy the miners and other cave pokemon they approached the exit.
Y/n:According to the map on my rotom phone, Turrfield should be right out there.
Marnie:Then let's go. We should be the first one there so let's hurry.
Y/n:Right.
The pair then rush to the exit but just then a certain cocky trainer appears.
Bede:Hold it right there you two!
The two spikemuth trainers turn to see their least favourite person.
Y/n:What do you want?
Bede:Your wishing stars. Hand them over or you will have to battle me.
Marnie:Why would we give you our wishing stars?
Bede:The chairman wants wishing stars so I am collecting them from trainers. Now give them to me.
Marnie:Well we don't care.
Bede:Listen you stupid girl just hand the-
He was cut off by a furious Y/n.
Y/n:Fine I will battle you!
Bede:OK then. Go solosis!
Y/n:Go haunter!
Both pokemon were sent out and Bede was very much surprised to see a haunter but he kept his cool as he ordered a confusion and Y/n ordered a Hypnosis to put the floating bubble asleep. He then used a super effective Hex which instantly knocked solosis out.
Bede:What!Go gotheita!
He then sent out his next pokemon as Haunter used a Hypnosis and Hex combo to take it out. The same was said for Hattena.
Bede:What! How could I, the chairman's protege lose to some spikemuth wannabe!
Y/n:When you learn that Spikemuth is just as good as other cities.
Bede than ran back to the entrance to get his pokemon healed.
Marnie(with a smirk):Did you fight for me?
Y/n(with a blush):No!
Marnie:You sure?
Y/n:Yeah! Anyway let's go!
He then bolts to the exit as Marnie just giggles and then follows him to Turrfield sight of their first gym battle.
