Chapter 6: So We Meet...Again

It was about nine am and the sun was peeking over the mountains. Ernaline woke up over an hour ago, eager to check out all the different activities to do in the town.

"Desi, Desi, wake up" she whispered while gently shaking his shoulder.

"Desi please wake up before it gets late, I want to go to the town" she whined.

After a round of shaking him, she grew impatient.

She slowly positioned her mouth closer to his ear and then suddenly she shouted, "AH!"

Desi threw himself up and was woken up by the sudden vicious piercing of a high pitched noise that blew up in his ear.

"Hey! What was that for?!" he yelled.

"You weren't going to wake up anytime soon, besides I want to go to town now!" she smiled.

"Why now? it's so early" he said.

"Please Desi you need to get out" she said staring at him.

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"..."

"..."

"Get up before I shove my Violin bow up your ear..." she threatened.

"You're too nice to dothat." he rolled his eyes.

"How would you know?" She said slowly taking out her violin bow out of her sleeve.

"What's wrong with you?" he said grudgingly, getting out of bed.

She gave a "Hmph" before sliding it back down her sleeve

"Works every time." she smiled.

Desi really hates her violin bow, ever since she used it to almost make him deaf one day when they were younger...

There was a knock at the door and before someone could answer-

*BOOM* The door almost broke as a girl yet again with even messier braids than before as she probably didn't take them out before going to sleep.

"DESI, LET'S GO TO THE TOWN!"

"Aria...I just got up. Can you not break my door next time please, this is not our residence i don't want to be responsible." he said while cleaning his sword.

"But it's not broken?...Oh, Lady Ernaline" she bowed.

"Ah, Miss Aria" she also dipped her head.

"Please just call me Aria! No need for formalities, we're friends...right?" she asked slightly looking up at her.

"Haha, yes we are." she smiled.

"You guys are weird." Desi said without looking up from what he was doing.

They both ignored the grumpy presence in the room, "Oh, Aria, are you joining us in town?" Ernaline asked.

"Yes i will gladly." she replied.

"I see..." She was studying the younger girl's appearance and saw the messy state she was in. She wondered why her parents never taught her at least some etiquette but with some further thinking she remembered that demons didn't really care too much for their children, it's just the way they are.

"Heh. Aria, can I do your hair?" Ernaline asked.

"My hair?"

"Yes"

"Oh, no one has ever asked me before, so be gentle!" she said nervously.

"Of course."

And with that Ernaline placed her down in front of the mirror and started unlosing.
