It was time to go and the fun was coming to an end. All the gods were all together and were ready to go back to heaven. The town people were gathered up to say their goodbyes to the gods and goddesses and to celebrate the time they were here until they came back on the Spring Festival.

"Alright everyone stay near we are about to take off"

Desi could see people cheering and jumping about like wild animals in his opinion. But one annoying appearance stood out in the crowd. Black hair, black clothes with sparks of red accessories on them and a messy red ribbon? Half a bow? That tied his hair up into a ponytail. He mentaly hoped that they would quickly ascend before the little roach would spot him. "Desi I see you! It was great talking to you and your amazing sister and friend!"

For the love of the gods! Why?

"Go away." Desi said.

"No, how could I miss the ascension of the gods?" he said causally walking up to the stage.

"We are setting off now, please stand back!"

"Move!" Desi pushed Rue back with such force that he fell onto other people in the crowd.

Finally! A bright light opened from above and people covered their eyes from the intimidating light and presence. Gods and goddesses soon dissipated one by one in the light and seeing Ernaline already gone he decided to quickly run as well."What no parting gift?" Rue said. "No" Before Desi could disappear Rue grabbed the end of his hair ripping a bit out before he could rise. "YOU LITTLE-" He disappeared.

"RUE! RUE! ARE YOU MAD!? WHY DID YOU PULL OUT THE YOUNG IMMORTAL'S HAIR??"

"YEAH YOU COULD BE PUNISHED YA KNOW!"

"Calm down, I know he doesn't have the guts too." Rue said.

"How could ya be sure? Young ones so confident these days."

"Ernaline, that idiot just pulled out my hair!" Desi shouted trying to fix himself up after his ascension.

Ernaline wasn't too bothered about her brother and was busy getting to work at her desk. "Good you deserve it," she said, not taking her eyes off her papers. "You've been rude and ever since we met that lovely boy."

Desi stormed out of his sister's quarters going back to his room in the palace. "Ah, immortals are so weird nowadays. Am I right, Cato?" The unnoticeable figure in the corner of the room slowly stepped out the shadows. "Yes, Miss" she said quietly. "Hey, what's with the formalities? I thought we were over this. Please just call me Ernaline." she smiled at her in the warm rays of sunlight.

"That reminds me..." Now facing towards her, "What you said the other day with black ink on paper, what exactly do you mean?" she said.

"This one can't tell thee but seek if you must though thee must be warned if purity meets the red colour of sin, thy flesh and bone may fall and the sad face shall take." The lady behind a thick veil said in monotone.

"I really don't get you sometimes..." she smiled awkwardly at her.

Aria descended into the Unjustified Realm greeted by Onion Goblins which are round creatures with red eyes and dark in colour. If you are just a normal person, being around them would makes your eyes water hence the name Onion Goblin. As usual they escorted her to the entrance of the Vermilion Domain. She kneeled in front of the huge aurous gold, rouge red doors and waited for her father to speak.

"Back again child?" A booming voice echoed out of the castle. "I think messing around with those idiots made you soft. Hm?" The sternness in his voice always scared her, it wasn't as nice as the carefree mother who once stroked her hair and poked her pink cheeks.

"No father I'm going on with the plan." she said shakily.

"I hope so, otherwise we might need to fix you again and I know you wouldn't want that, hm?" he said in a low voice.

"N-no father! Please be aware of the contract agreement father...you promised no more conflict" she said looking up slightly. "Confident now are we? Tch, of course I know but they are so self centered that they pretend they want peace to look good for peasants and low lifes. Such pick me nots. Ahh, don't you agree useless child?"

"Yes father..." she said slowly.

"Very good. Why are you still here? Move I don't want to see you, I have guests coming.''

After, the two fireballs which represented eyes on the castle faded away and it was dark and depressing again. It still smelt like burning pork, human flesh even since the realm was practically made out of the burning of souls in agony and resentment. The ash and high spirited sparks from the flames drizzled on her thick eyelashes and nose because she was still kneeling, her father long gone. It was upsetting. Why did they have it so good up there? Look at them how they fly and in one swoop in their lavish armor. So common yet seen so rarely. Friends are friends right? How did the halfie do it so well?

------------------

"A long time has passed, our kingdom's grown, sitting up here in this...hell hole." Desi sang to a old tune he heard somewhere in the human realm.

He was sitting in a dome like prism with white outlines going in different directions. He was channeling himself with the moon to heal and also use it as a looking glass to see the human world below. It was more quiet than usual and the clouds had already dispersed, using the eyes of the moon he looked across the horizon and saw the now dim-looking sparks of light coming from the reddish yellow sun. For a second he felt a familiar feeling, he felt like the sun was somewhat looking back at him, knowing he was there.

As the last efforts of the sun glazing across the land faded, he realised it had gone dark and only he was now glowing in the night sky. For some reason he didn't want that light to fade, he felt immense deja vu by it.

"Desi! Desi come out please!"
He could hear his sister calling, although he couldn't be bothered to talk to her right now, he didn't want to hear the wrath of her silly glass violin.
So he thought he would just obey for now. "What a joke."
Finishing channeling essence from his prism, he appeared behind his sister.
"What is is now?" he said now sitting on his sword which was hovering above the ground.

"Desi! I got a message saying that some strange things have been happening in the Luminary Clan. It mentions that all the animals they have there are all turned on their backs and they don't move even if they tried to push them over, it this goes on it could disrupt way of travel and food." as she was explaining she noticed that Desi looked calm, almost too calm and he looked a bit, dazed? She opened her mouth again to speak but was cut off.

"The Luminary Clan... Isn't that in the middle of a desert?" If hating the warmth of bed covers is bad, imagine the direct blazing sun on your head. He hates the heat and how stuffy it makes you feel but the light warm glow that cuddled his cheeks earlier was way too different and so he didn't mind.

"Well um, yes it is but I'm sure we would be able to get there before the sun hits too high in the sky to bare. So in speaking, we should leave at dawn. The earlier the better." Since there was no point of arguing he just nodded and unmounted his sword turned the opposite direction.

"Desi" Ernaline called and by the sound of that melodic sweet voice, he turned slightly. "Goodnight" she said with a smile blooming on her lips. Having a proper look at her, her hair was flowing gently in the breeze and her peach blossom face shone softly in the moonlight.
"Mn. Goodnight" he said before descending down into the Immortal Court.
