Jessica is a twenty five year old single mommy to be. The baby's father has not been in the picture since finding out Jessica is pregnant. Jessica was okay with that. She would rather him leave now then walk out on their daughter.
Today is October 23rd. Jessica's due date.
It's also the day of The Jonas Brothers concert. Jessica has been a fan for the last fourteen years and after such a crazy year she wanted to go and have some fun. She will absolutely not be missing this show.
"Jessica, I don't think you understand that you are due to have a baby soon!"
"Mom, I understand! But she's not coming today! I know my body, and I know I'm okay to go. I've never missed an opportunity to see my boys. If I'm not in the hospital giving birth, I'm going to be there."
Dorothy sighs. "Fine but I'm taking the extra ticket you have!"
"Sarah said she wanted it."
"Oh right- I'm Going!"
"Fine! It'll be just like old times." Jessica smiles. "Me, you.. And The Jonas Brothers! EEEEK!" Jessica jumps. "I'M SO EXCITED!"
"None of that, you'll break your water!"
"Momma." Jessica laughs. "Calm down!"
"I'm just worried."
"I know you are. But I'm okay." Jessica smiles and kisses her mother's cheek.
Dorothy smiles softly.
"And if I have the baby there maybe she and I will get free Jonas Brother tickets for the rest of our lives."
"Oh Jessica!" Dorothy taps her on the arm as Jessica laughs.
**
Jessica wore a black t-shirt with red baby footprints on the belly. In red it said, "Love Bug". That was one of Jessica's favorite songs. On the back it said, "Joe Jonas is my Baby Daddy". Jessica was of course a Joe girl!
The concert was outside, and even though it's October, they live in Texas so the heat is still around.
Jessica took pictures and bought merch. She even bought a few things for the baby.
"Mom, look! The baby has her very own Jonas brother shirt! Her first of many!" Jessica smiles.
Dorothy relaxed a little but still kept a close eye on Jessica.
Jessica didn't dare to tell her mother, but she's had a few pains here and there. She figured it were from all the walking, and didn't think much of it.
Finally around 9:00 The boys came out.
Jessica was like a teenager again. Screaming, singing, jumping, and dancing. She was having the time of her life!
Dorothy watched and worried. "Jessie, calm down! You're going to make yourself go into labor and we're forty five minutes away from the hospital!"
"Mom, it's the Jonas Brothers! Have some fun!" Jessica then got right back to singing and dancing.
"Cause an empty room can be so loud! There's too many tears to drown them out-So hold on, hold on, hold on, HOOOOLD OOOONNNNNN! YEEEEESSS! AH!" Jessica's eyes widen and she leans forward.
"Jessica!" Dorothy panics.
"I'M FINE! I'M JUST SO EXCITED!" Jessica covers her pain with an excited smile.
The next song begins and Jessica goes back to singing and dancing.
A few songs pass and Jessica gets another contraction. This time the pain was almost unbearable. Then she felt a trickle down her legs.
Jessica gasps and looks down.
"No Way."
"What's wrong?" Dorothy asks.
"My water just broke at a Jonas brother concert!" She smiles.
"WHAT! Jessie, we have to go!"
"NO! WHAT? Are you serious? I'm not leaving NOW!"
"Jessica, the baby's coming! We have to get you to the hospital!"
"This is my first baby, she'll take hours to get here! I'm not leaving, you old woman!"
Dorothy couldn't believe her daughter. Jessica was not budging.
After her water breaking Jessica's contractions worsened. Thankfully she was at a concert surrounded by screaming fans. Jessica screamed and sang through her pain.
The adrenaline is what pulled Jessica through. It was an incredible experience.
Soon the concert ended and Dorothy was ready to get on the road.
"Wow! That was amazing!" Jessica laughs. "ENCORE! ENCORE! JONAS! JONAS!"
"They've already come out twice, Let's GO! What is wrong with you?" Dorothy shouts.
"What? Mom, I saw the Jonas Brothers AND my baby is coming! I can't believe that just happened!"
"Let's go, Jessica Phyllis."
"Hey maybe by the time we get to the hospital, she'll be ready to come out."
"With the way you were jumping I'm surprised she hasn't fallen out already!"
"Yeah.. Hey too bad I'm not having a boy! I could've named him Jonas!" Jessica smiles.
Dorothy gives her daughter a look and grabs her by the hand. "Let's Go!'
To be Continued.

This is such a random story, but I'm going to see The Jonas Brothers in October, and I've also spoken a lot recently about having a baby. No I'm not pregnant lol. But I started thinking if I was and the boys were here, what would I do? I'd for sure still go! Y'all don't understand how much I love those guys🤣💙💙💙
Also pretend Covid isn't a thing. I just wanted her to have some fun lol!
