June 2016.
Tonight is closing night of the production A Long Days Journey into Night. Jessica is beyond exhausted and is ready to go back home to Minnesota to get away from the craziness of New York.
"Last show! Are you ready?" Her costar Gabriel says to her.
"Oh yes! Haha, I'm so tired! I just want to go home to Minnesota and lay down. I don't want to talk to anybody, I don't want to even leave my bed. I'm SO exhausted!"
"Just four more hours!" He smiles.
"Yes! I can do it!" Jessica laughs.

It was a very long four hours, but Jessica got through it. She was proud of her run with this production. She recently won a Tony for it as well, which made her feel so amazing.
After the show Jessica changed into gray yoga pants, a black top and black sandals. She put her sunglasses on her head to hold her hair back, and grabbed her things and stuck them into an Urban Outfitters shopping bag.
Jessica walked out to the car and heard a man's voice.
It was deep and slightly raspy, but it was a voice she's been aching for.
"Danny!" She turns to him with the hugest smile on her face.
"Jessica! Oh my gosh, that was amazing!" Danny walks over and hugs her.
"You saw it! Oh wow, thank you!"
"I mean.. That was so breath taking."
"Thank you so much, Danny. and please excuse me, I'm gross and I look a mess!"
"Never! You always look beautiful." He smiles.
Jessica smiles and looks down.
"How long are you in town for?"
"I leave in the morning. I just came to see you."
"Oh you're so sweet!"
"Heh, thanks. *Smiles* Would you like to go out tonight?"
"Yeah! Of course! Just let me go home and shower first!" She chuckles.
"No problem. Knickerbockers in an hour?"
"I'll be there." Jessica smiles.
Her driver drove her to her apartment where she quickly got ready.
Jessica and Danny have always been great friends, and during Freakshow they were somewhat of an item. Distance has always kept them apart, but seeing him tonight reminded her of those feeling and made her wish they lived closer.

Jessica drove to the restaurant and Danny was waiting in Her booth.
"Hey!" She smiles.
Danny slides out and hugs her.
"Hi, beautiful. How are you?"
"I'm doing well! Thank you!
So.. How have you been?"
"Can't complain.. Just work." He smiles.
"How's your daughter?"
"She's good! I'm actually taking her to Disneyland next weekend. Her and some of her friends.. should interesting. *Chuckles* How are your kids and grandkids?"
"Oh they're wonderful! Thank you for asking!"
The two talk and share stories from the past year they've been apart, they drink a little and just enjoy each other's company.
