It's cute how he's shy, it's cute how he's looking everywhere except for all the students in front of him, it's cute how he just decides to look at the floor, and it's cute how his hair just hangs there.
I was hoping he'd glance at the class so he could glance at me but that didn't happen so I sit in my seat and wait for whatever's going to happen next.
"Well, is that all your going to say Mr. Way, or are you just going to stand beside me and look stupid?"
Well, that was rude of him.
Some people snicker because of this comment, I mean, it's wasn't even funny.
"Um, y-yea...no, that's all I have to say"
His voice is angelic, I could listen to this boy talk all day. Honestly, I need to get to know this kid no matter what I tell myself, I believe he's just like me, just with different situations...
"Well, alright, sit next to Mr. Iero"
I roll my eyes as he pronounces my name wrong, you just have to sound out the letters I mean didn't people learn sounding out in kindergarten? So I decide just to stare at my lap as he points at me to signal I'm "Mr. Yero" as he pronounces it. It's "eye-ear-oh" I think to myself which includes the face I made but I soon discard the thought..and the face, so I'm at my original bored face.
This so called "Gerard" glances at me for a second and walks over to me, and I may say awkwardly too, as his glare moves to his shoes.
I mean his boots do look pretty cool. I'll admit that.
He takes his seat next to me as I exhale a nice big sigh, just meaning I'm tired, but Gerard glances at me for a second then lays his head back down. Did he think I didn't want him sitting next to me or something? Man, he probably took it the wrong way.
"Kind of did"
I'm confused as to who he was talking to, I stare at him with confusion.
"What?"
"You said I probably took your sigh the wrong way, and I'm telling you I kind of did"
"O-oh, y-yea, my bad"
So I said that out loud? How many other thoughts have I said out loud? How many people have been hurt by my out-loud thoughts on them?
Eh, well, whatever.
So we talked, not the proper conversation a person would want, but I still got something.
Because let me tell you, I'd have him sitting next to me rather than someone else who'd bring up the new trend these days.

The rest of the class we both stay silent. Him with his head laid down on the desk and I'm just looking at the ceiling laid back on my chair.
The rest class seems like five hours and the rest of the school day seems like years. Nothing much to say to anyone, considering I don't have friends.
But that's ok cause I don't want any friends and I don't need any friends.
But I still want to get to know this Gerard kid.
The bell rings signaling it's time to dismiss us. I usually just walk back home, because I don't like buses at all, there's too many kids doing nothing but yelling at each other when they're right next to each other. It makes zero sense. And last year when I rode the bus, some kids decided to throw paper balls at people, but were they not only paper balls, they made a decision to light it on fire. One of those papers landed on me but luckily the fire was gone...but I smelled burnt a little. So I decided I'd just walk home from then on.
Plus, walking home has it's advantages, it isn't that bad, I don't live too far, maybe like two or three blocks away from the school. I also get to think about things for about ten minutes as I listen to music and walk home.
So today's topic of thinking, I decided to think about the new kid, Gerard Way.
