Chapter 47: The Big Day

Loki's POV:

I opened my eyes, knowing that today was the day my whole life was going to change for the best once more. I sat up and looked at the sun's rays coming through the white curtains. I wasn't in the palace since last night the guys threw me a bachelor party.

I quickly got up and washed up. I grabbed some clothes and went out my chamber and through the wooden hall. Yes, I was in a cabin far off in the country side but not too far from the city. It was a nice place where Hogun liked to spend his time alone so they all brought me here to relax before I see my soon-to-be wife.

"Hey! Look who's up!" Volstagg shouts from the kitchen.

"Look Sleeping Beauty is up, like Angela says." Frandal says and everyone laughs.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny Frandal." I rolled my eyes and continued "Plus, it's not that late anyways."

"Well enough with the nonsense and let's get the groom to have some fun before he gets ready." Thor says, coming through the small entrance.

I frown and asked "Um, where are we going? I have to be ready by before 3pm."

"Ah! Do not worry brother. We have this figured out, you just cooperate with us." Thor said and I sat down to have a bit of breakfast, even tho I wasn't even the slightest hungry.

Angela's POV:

I looked at myself one more time in the full body mirror in my walk-in closet, or should I say Loki and mine. We slept in the same room and made Loki's room Miloh's after he turned 1. We thought it was better for him to have his own room since he was growing up fast.

I straightened out the bottom of my dress as I glanced myself from head to toe. I just couldn't believe what was about to happen. I did make myself know I was going to get married anytime but the time flew by that I can't actually believe it's here.

Knock, knock!

"Come in!" I shouted and took my crystal heels out from the top shelf. I walked outside and saw Frigga standing the doorway.

"Oh my baby girl! You look beautiful!" She shouted and covered her mouth as tears were now rolling down her cheeks.

"Oh mom! Thank you but please don't cry! I don't want to be all emotional and ruin my makeup." I say and embrace her in a hug.

"Okay, okay." She said and quickly wiped her tears. "Look. I found something I wore when I got married to your father. It's a bit old but I fixed it up so it would look like new." She handed me a white veil so I could see it. It did look like new and it was gorgeous.

"Mom! Thank you! C-could you put it in my bun?" I asked and she nodded, as she placed the veil in my head, little butterflies were felt in my stomach. I was nervous.

"Let me look at you one more time. Oh!" Frigga said and I smiled.

"Mom... I'm so nervous. I'm affraid of something is going to go wrong. What if I trip or something, oh no!" I started freaking out.

"Hey! Do not worry. Everything is going to be alright. Make this day unforgettable." Frigga said and patted me in the back. I breathed in deeply and let it out through my mouth. "Come. It's time."

I followed Frigga through the halls and stopped in front of a carriage. "Thor is already waiting for us. Here, you go here and I'll follow in the other one." She said and handed me a bouquet of white roses. I smiled and hugged her one last time. I got in and let the carriage take me to the Church.
