Chapter 25: Strange Events

*Next Day*
Angela's POV:

I woke up and noticed I had the same clothes as yesturday. I frowned down and wondered what had happened. The image of Loki getting killed came back and I gasped. I did my bed and took a quick shower. I walked next door and stood there.

'Should I knock?' I raised my hand to knock, but I didn't. Instead I went to get my breakfast. I didn't feel like eating much or seeing anyone so I went straight to the kitchen.

"Lady Angela!" Mayl and the rest of the staff yelled as I walked in.

I frowned in surprise at their action. "Um, hey!... guys. Why the, uh, the astonishment at my presence?"

"We thought you were sick!" Mayl said, motioning for me to sit down in one of their stools.

"I'm not sick. I'm perfectly fine." I said. "What happened? I don't remember anything?"

She looked down at me and poured some coffee in a cup. "You really don't remember Angela?"

I shook my head after I tried, one more time, to remember. "I don't. Tell me what happened."

She cleaned her hands in her apron and sat down. The rest of them left the kitchen, leaving us alone. She sighed and started talking. "When you and the rest of your friends came back, you fell in some kind of nervous attack. But... it wasn't any regular attack."

"What do you mean? I haven't had any break downs since... just a long time now." I said confusedly.

"Your whole body became stiff and cold. Everyone had to drag you to your room since the nursery was getting filled with supplies. I just placed a hot towel over you and you calmed down. But that's not all." She whispered the last sentence.

"Explain yourself Mayl. You're creeping me out." I whispered back. "Why are we whispering?"

She looked around and then whispered "After a while, everyone left and I stayed with you. I went to the bathroom and when I got back... you were sitting up and your eyes were completely white. And... your ring glowed up at your heart. You spoke some strange language then you fell back and you were freezing cold again. I covered you again with blankets and hot towels, and you calmed down. You wouldn't wake up with any shake or any loud noise. It almost seemed as if you were in some kind of deep sleep."

My eyes opened wide as I heard Mayl tell me that. I took a sip of my coffee and said "Are you sure of what you're telling me?" She nodded and I said "So no one knows about this?"

"No ma'am. But should I tell someone?" She said.

"No. This will be our little secret. Um, do you know where Thor is?" I asked.

"Yes. I think he's up in the throne room." She said and I stood up. But before I walked away, she took my hand. "Angela, if you don't feel alright. Go back to your room and call for me okay."

I smiled and nod at her. "I will. Thanks for your concern Mayl." She smiled and I left. As walked down the hall, and I get called.

"Angela!" I turned and saw Matthew. I couldn't believe he was out.

"Matthew! Wh- What are you doing here?" I said as I hugged him back.

"Oh. Well, since Loki is now dead... Some guard let me out to confirm if the rumors are true." He said as we broke apart.

"Oh! Um.. yeah. He's... dead." I quickly look back down at my feet. His hand goes under my chin and he raises it.

"What's wrong? Why did you just say that with much... please don't tell you..."
