Chapter 28: Time Is Over

Loki's POV:

"Well you seemed annoyed." I say and get closer to Angela.

"Really? Ah! I won't lie, Jane made me speak. So now she knows." She says and gives me a quick kiss.

"Is she going to tell?"

"Nope. She promised."

"Well she is leaving soon so that means no one will know." I said and we both chuckle.

"Why don't you want for anyone to know that we are a thing now?" Angela asks as I wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"Because they know already. Plus, I don't want for them to be teasing me about it." I say and kiss her forehead.

"Is that so?" She grins and I smile down at her. If we could, I would have just stayed there staring at her beautiful blue eyes. As I was going to lean to give her another kiss, a strong wind blew us down to the ground.

We covered ourselves with our arms. I looked at her laying in the grass next to me so I covered her up so nothing could happen to her. Once the wind stopped, I looked up and noticed a ship.

"Shit." I say and Angela now sat up and I heard her gasp.

"Loki?" She said and I took her hand.

"What ever happens... don't let go of my hand, understood?" I said and she nodded. We helped each other up and looked at the huge rock ship open.

"Well well well! I found my darlings!" The deep voice said. No one was visible since there was a lot of dust. Once the area cleared out... I saw him.

Thanos's POV:

"I left you speechless. I'm flattered." I say and bring my free hand up to my chest.

"Thanos. What are you doing here?" Loki said with a shaky voice. The girl, I think her name is Angela, was behind him.

"I came to get what's mine. You did tell him right?" I say and ask the pretty girl.

"Yeah. He knows." She responded. I grin and turn to see Loki.

"So? Where's my Tesseract?" I look at him straight in the eyes, making him more nervous than he already was.

"Loki! Angela! Are you...? Who are you?" A guy with a red cape and a hammer came from... who knows where.

"Ah! Thor right?" I say to my new guest.

"Yes. That is my name, but who are you and why did you come here?" Thor said.

I grinned and answered "Well you see, I let your precious little brother borrow something that belonged to me and it's been a long time now that he hasn't gave it back. I'm guessing he just took it and wants to keep it."

"Loki?! Give this man what is his now!" Thor yelled to Loki.

"Look Thor. This guy wants the Tesseract back. He let me use it back on Midgard but YOU took it away." He said and now turned to see me. "Since he took it from me, I have no idea where it is! So I don't have it!"

I raise my chin up and looked down at him. "So you don't have it."

"Didn't you just listened he doesn't have it?!" Angela shouted.

"Angela! Stay out of this!" Loki turned back and shouted over his shoulder.

"Look sir..."

"The name is Thanos." I say to Thor.

"Thanos. He doesn't have it and neither do I. So I'm going to ask politely to leave Asgard." Thor said.

"Father, he is right. Their army is on their way here. You know we jabe limited weaponry." Nebula's voice was heard behind me. I turned and said "Go back in there and figure out a way to distract them?!"
