Chapter 10/ Introductions PT.2

[Ash's Pov]

"Hel-"

I couldn't say a single word until something slapped me across the face.

"Omigosh! I'm so so so so so so sorry! Please forgive me!!!"

I looked at the attacker and it was a girl, not sure what race though. Xin was always better at finding out whose race was what. Something to do with mana or somethin.

After leaving Xin in our bedroom where he was snuggled up against pillows I went to eat lunch. But the moment I opened the door to the lunchroom I didn't expect to be slapped by this girl.

"I'm super duper sorry! I was trying to run out the door but I tripped and you opened it and- and-"

Sigh."Don't worry about it I'll be fine but please be careful ok," I replied with a hint of guilt. Man this girl is so... what's the word. Ah right, pitiful.

"Man you got him good! He looked as if he touched your ass or something," a voice shouted behind her.

I looked behind the obviously shaking but also embarrassed girl and saw some people there. The angel and that human was there as well. Is all the endorsed here?

"Anyway," I walk past the girl. "I'm hungry so where's the food?"

"Well you have to sit down if you want to eat. Also this place is kinda like a self service restaurant, we can make anything we want if we wanted to," and then the guy speaking dragged out an 'or' for more than 3 seconds.

"Just go to that machine over there and place your order, simple,". He pointed at the machine and I mentally cursed my self. I wasn't all the good with machines. Sure I had my phone but I only knew how to text and watch videos.

Xin made me play a game once and uh. I had to get a new phone after that mess.

Staring at the machine as if it was the most interesting thing in the world the guy spoke up.

"Need help there bud?". Groaning, I nodded and also whimpered a bit. I hate being not able to do things.

The guy tapped the screen and I jumped when a voice said to register food ID. He once again looked at me and pointed to something beside the machine.

"This is the menu, all you have to do is look for the food of your choice and then type down the code next to it,". He smiled and then walked away to sit with the other people.

Looking through the list I spot some that would hit just the spot as well as some Xin would like. In the end I chose myself some chicken fried rice as well as a pepsi. Don't judge, I like the food so I'll eat it.

After I entered the code into the machine, the screen changed again and said 'please wait and pick up at the counter'

Man, everything was so futuristic nowadays. Even my mom is better at technology than me. And I'm part of the generation old people think is tech crazed.

Waiting for my order I decided to sit down beside the others. Sort of excited to make some new friends.

"Hello there! My name is Ash, what's your name?"

Everyone replied and told me who they were, I was sort of shocked by some of them. I didn't know such races even existed.

"So uhm is this all the endorsed?" I questioned. Sure this couldn't be everyone. There was only 10 people here. Including me and Xin of course.

"Nope, the other endorsed are not from we're from,". Zack, who was a zombie and also the guy who helped me out.

"What do you mean where else would they be from?". I gave him a questioning look and he gave me a glance of confusion but also understanding.

"You don't know a lot do you? Didn't your representative tell you any of this?". Needless to say I was confused as hell. What representative? Also my brain decided to give me a second thought abut if zombies were alive or not.

"How are you considered a race?" I accidentally blurted out. Xin told me that talking about races would be rude but I was just so curious. "I'm sorr-"

"No no it's ok. It makes sense," he then explained to me in detail about how the undead were a race.

Despite popular beliefs, undead in the old gen were treated more like mosters and also they were not created by sacrifing the soul of a living being. But in reality they were just mixed with the monsters because they looked similar to them.

The new gen were more human like and also more friendly. And also it wasn't that undead were stupid, but just extremely misunderstood a lot.

"Ok that makes sense but uhm why do you look 'too' human?" Even if he was a zombie this guy looked way too alive to be one.

"Ah right, this is because of my sister's artifact,". Right as he said that a girl that was so short came up to him and slapped him.

"Ow! What the fuck was that for!"

"Language! And also I thought we agreed to not reveal our artifacts?"

The girl was wearing what I presume to be a black jacket with long sleeves, as well as a back and white crop top underneath. She looked like a gangster that's for sure. She also wore a short Jean skirt and had pink and white bows in her hair that was styled with twin pigtails. Her hair was black in colour and it had some streaks of white in it.

"Look Emilia, everyone is gonna know anyway might as well tell people," Zack brushed his cheek.

"They will know when the instructors tell us to use our artifacts for now it's hush hush!" She put her pointer finger to her lips and then turned to me.

"Sorry if I'm being rude. I'm Emilia, sister to this dolt. It's not that I don't want to share what my artifact does, but I just wanna suprise people with my abilities during class ya know?"

"Understandable at least those two got to show off,". I nodded towards both Ariel and Katsuki.

"It's quite alright at least you guys know about my artifact now," Ariel said as she then sipped her tea.

"Umu. Indeed it was fun showing off!" Katsuki yelled. My ears had to be covered because of that.

"So what class are you guys?" Zack said out of nowhere.

Some people replied with 'Scout', 'Mage' as well as 'All-rounder' and so on. When everyone was done Zack turned to me.

"Well what about you? Didn't they say what you were?" He nudged me on my elbow and I tried to recall what that guy said.

"Warrior," even though I still have no clue what that meant.

"Interesting, interesting, so you'll be paired with me and Dan over there,". I looked to over where Dan was and he shifted slightly.

He was skinny and small, but what's more surprising is that he is a werewolf like me. An omega in fact.

"What do you mean paired, can't I he with Xin?" I pouted out.

"Ah your friend? Well depending if he is a warrior like us. If not then you guys are gonna have different classes for the year,"

I wag my tail excitedly. One of the reason is because of my new school life but the main reason was that I could be with Xin during class. But he didn't tell me his class yet so I guess I have to wait.

"Mate will be fine, we just have to work hard to protect mate,"

"Thanks Alex I needed that,"

Someone's voice interrupted my thoughts as the door began to open.

"Well well looks like the rest are here," Zack spoke while looking at the door.

"The people who were born in the academy,"
