Part 13 / Basic Artifact Knowledge

[Xin's Pov]

"All right class, now does everybody know what is an Artifact?" Said Solomon.

"It is the accumulation of one's being right?" Answered one of them.

"That is correct but also needs some more detail. That description can also be considered the 'soul' however artifacts are not souls," he coughed and then turned to the whiteboard. "Now then just watch this while I go and do something for a bit, byeeee!"

"Catch him!" The Jaqlin suddenly hurried over and tried to grab Solomon but he disappeared into thin air.

"Ok so some of you know the rules but you can't leave until that story is finished so goodluck and don't fall asleep," a voice suddenly spoke and then faded.

"Urgh dammit! He always does this!" Jaqlin reluctantly sat back into her chair.

"What's the problem? It just means we are allowed to do whatever we want." Gov said. She looked at him and then sighed with a sullen expression.

"I wish it was that simple. You see his artifact is known as 'Dreaming Day'. Which is what he used to make that visible, the only problem is, if we get too engrossed in it we might just sit here looking at the same thing until school is over." She then looked over to the whiteboard.

I was curious on how looking at the same thing would be so interesting that school would be over but I do wanna see how learning here would be like. I turned and gave my full attention to the whiteboard and I watched as the swirls of black turned into different colours and letters.

~Artifacts Summary~

Artifacts are what most people use to either make a living or defend themselves or use just for fun.

Artifacts are relics of the past, future, and present. Some you may have heard and some that were just created. Artifacts with legends or rumours or myths tend to have more power behind them.

However some that are newly created and never heard of have unlimited potential, so matter which rank or type of artifact. It all depends on how you use it.

Artifacts manifest themselves into what their user desires or what they admire. A doctor could have an artifact that heals and a kill could have an artifact that kills.

Some that has no idea what they want to manifest will let the artifact choose itself. But no matter what kind, it will always suit the user.

Artifacts usually has three main vessels or forms. Body, Item and Place.

Body, these artifacts are contained or sealed within your body and will enhance your performance while doing so. It may increase magic or physical abilities and it completely depends on what the artifact is capable of.

Item, the more common artifacts, they take the shape of a weapon, an everyday object or just a plain old box. These items have to be 'used' in order for them to activate unlike 'Body' which is passive.

Place, the rarest artifacts, they take the form of a time or place or a complete wonderland for who knows what. These artifacts are known to break several rules when it comes to science. Unlike the other two artifacts, once a 'Place' has been placed down. The user will turn into a spirit and observe the people within that space.

At face value all artifacts have extreme potential. The only way to make them fully shine is to give them a 'proper' history and a true name. There are also things such as using limitations, that take away ones freedom to achieve greater power.
