Chapter 1- The Other Girl

(This is my first fanfic so it probably won't be that good. Give me some feedback for improvement and such. But hey. With time I will improve. Sorry in advance for grammatical errors and spelling errors.)
(Maka's POV)
It's Saturday night and I'm spending it reading books. While Soul on the other hand, he's on a date with his girlfriend. His girlfriend is a tall, nice, brunette, blue eyed, beautiful girl. I believe her name is Morgan.

I'll admit it, she's a lucky girl because Soul is a great guy. He has a protective, sweet, yet chill personality. Not only does he have a great personality but he has an attractive appearance. From his soft snow white hair, his deep crimson eyes, to his seductive toothy grin. He can make any girl fall head over heels. Don't get me started on his body. I sat back on the couch with a blank gaze daydreaming about Soul.

(Maka's Daydream)
"M-Maka..."
"Yes Soul?"
"Morgan left me for someone else..." Soul sighed.
"I'm sorry Soul. How can I cheer you up?" I asked giving him a hug. His eyes widened and he hugged back. A few moments later he lifted his head from my shoulder and looked at me in the eyes. I stare into his eyes too and blush when his eyes moved from my eyes down to my lips. Soul closed his eyes and slid his arms down from my back to my waist. He pulled me closer to him as he moved closer to my face. I felt his warm breath on my lips. I started blushing like crazy and closed my eyes as his lips were inches from mine...

"Maka are you okay?" I heard Blair say while she walked into the room. I snapped out of my daydream with a blush forming across my face.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." I said looking at the ground, embarrassed that I just fantasized about my friend.

"Are you sure you're okay? Why do you look so down?" Blair asked. I ignored her question at first. Why am I having these thoughts about Soul recently?

"I-I'm fine... Nothing's wrong!" I replied to her question. It was silent for a moment when Blair asked,

"... Okay? Where's Soul?"

"He's on a date with Morgan. You know his girlfriend." I said still looking down but blushing even more.

"Oh, I think I know what's going on!" Blair said with a wink.

"W-what's that suppose to mean?" I stuttered, making eye contact with Blair. My face feeling even hotter.

"I think someone's got a little crush." She said with a smirk.

"I think you have feelings for Soul, am I right?" I looked at her bright red and shouted,

"WHAT?!?! NO HE'S JUST MY FRIEND!"

"Hahaha, whatever you say girlie!" Blair winked again. God I wish she would stop the winking thing. It's getting annoying! If she doesn't stop I'm going to Maka chop her.

"W-well what about you? You like Soul! You're always on top of him!" I said very defensive like.

"I do it just to mess with him, you know how guys are!" She said with slight annoyance.

"Anyway this isn't about me Maka. Stop being stubborn and admit you like Soul. Really, be honest with me. Do you like Soul or not?"

"Of course not! He's just my friend." I said with a sigh.

"I'm happy he found someone that can make him him happy." I said faking a smile. Is this really what I'm saying? I'm happy for him but I rather him be happy with me! What am I talking about? Soul is just a very close friend and my weapon partner. Nothing more, nothing less. Is Blair onto something though? Do I love Soul? If not why am I acting like this?

"Hey uh Maka? Maybe we can find you a date to make you happy!" Blair said with a smile. Ugh, that's the last thing I want to do, but Blair is just trying to cheer me up.

"Okay, I guess we can try." I responded with a sigh.

"Alright let's get to work!" She said cheerfully.

(Okay, that was chapter 1. What do you all think? I know I can improve my writing but I'll get there eventually. This is my first fanfic so.... Yeah. I'm working on chapter 2 right now so it should be out soon. Also I have a brief idea on how I want the story to go. So I'm not sure how long this fanfic will be. See you next chapter.
