Chapter 8: Explain

-Y/N and Jungkook enter her apartment to find Kai and Jennie naked on the couch, Kai gets up to get dressed-

Kai: Hey.

Y/N: Hey.

Kai: Hi, you must be Y/N.

-they shake hands-

Y/N: You must be Kai.

Jeon Jungkook: And we must be going, Kai.

Kai: So awesome to meet you. Jennie's told me a lot about you.

Jeon Jungkook: Kai, find your shoes. Some of us have work to attend to.

Kai: What are you doing with Mr. Warmth here?

-Y/N smiles-

-Y/N and Jungkook watch uncomfortably as Kai kisses Jennie goodbye-

Kai: Laters, baby.

-Kai walks out of the apartment-

Jeon Jungkook: I'll see you tonight. Email me if something changes.

Y/N: My computer's broken.

Jeon Jungkook: Well call then, you know you have my number.

-he touches her face-

Jeon Jungkook: Laters, baby.

-Jungkook leaves-

Y/N: Kai seems really nice.

-Jennie laughs-

Jennie: No, no. We're starting with you. If you're seeing him again tonight, that means that something happened. Y/N?

-Y/N avoids answering and starts to walk away-

Y/N: I have to get ready for work.

-they both laugh-

Y/N: We just kissed. Once.

Jennie: Only once? That's odd.

Y/N: Mm. Odd doesn't even cover it.

Jennie: Uh-huh.

-Y/N turns and starts walking to her room-

Jennie: And a new jacket. Hm.
