Chapter 20: Busan

-after Y/N arrives in Busan to visit her mom she is sat having dinner with her mom and her husband-

Y/N's mother: This gazpacho is very salty, hun.

Husband: Yeah.

Y/N's mother: You'll get fat with all this sitting around. You tell him, Y/N.

Y/N: I'm not gonna tell him that.

Husband: Yes, thank you, Y/N. I'm just saying that, you know, the gazpacho is basically eating a bowl of salsa. Now you should hand me some chips for my bowl of salsa?

Y/N's mother: You can have a carrot.

-she gives her husband a carrot-

Husband: Now what are you getting at with this?

-Y/N's mother laughs-

Husband: You know, you are damn lucky that I just happen to love you, very much.

Y/N's mother: I know that.

Husband: Do you?

Y/N's mother: Mm, I do

-later as Y/N lies in bed, clearly missing Jungkook, she send him a text message-

-Y/N texts:"Missing you. Wish you were here."-

-Jungkook texts back: "Me too. Having dinner with a friend tonight."

-Y/N texts back: "What friend? Mrs. Jung?"-

-Jungkook texts back: Don't worry about it.

-Y/N looks clearly upset; Jungkook decides to call Y/N but she doesn't hear the phone as it's on silent-

-Y/N and Y/N's mother are at a country club drinking cosmos-

Y/N's mother: Oh, darling, I think we should pace ourselves, or at least order something to eat.

Y/N: You go ahead, I'm not very hungry.

Y/N's mother: Oh, I'll just have the fruit salad.

-Y/N laughs, just then her phone vibrates as she gets a text message from Jungkook-

Y/N's mother: He can wait.

Y/N: Mom.

-Y/N looks at Jungkook's message-

-Jungkook texts: "Another cosmo?"-

Y/N: Holy fuck.

Y/N's mother: What? What is it?

Y/N: It's Jungkook, he's here. Um...in Busan.

-just then Jungkook shows up at Y/N and Y/N's mother's table-

Y/N's mother: Oh. Here, here!

-Jungkook looks at Y/N's mother-

Jeon Jungkook: Delighted to meet you.

-he shakes Y/N's mother's hand-

Savannah Hotel Waiter: Something to drink sir?

Jeon Jungkook: Gin and tonic. Hendrick's if you have it, otherwise Bombay Sapphire. Cucumber with the Hendrick's, lime with the Bombay.

Y/N's mother: I like him already.

-Y/N's mother laughs-

Y/N: What are you doing here, Jungkook?

Jeon Jungkook: I came to see you.

Y/N's mother: I'm gonna step outside for a minute.

-Y/N's mother gets up and leaves-

-Jungkook sits next to Y/N-

Y/N: I broke rule seven, clause five.

-as Y/N goes to take a sip of her cosmo Jungkook takes the glass out of her hand-

Jeon Jungkook: We'll let it go. Let's not talk about the contract right now.

Y/N: How was your dinner?

Jeon Jungkook: She's a friend, that's all. She knows me.

Y/N: Well, what did she advise you to do?

Jeon Jungkook: Well I'm here.

Y/N: And now what?

Jeon Jungkook: I've got a room at this hotel.

Y/N: Well I hope you'll be comfortable in it.

Jeon Jungkook: What are you doing for breakfast tomorrow?
