"Home sweet home."

The words that came out of Jimin's lips were dry, distant and cold when he opened the front door to their new home for the next who knows how long.

Taehyung immediately started sneezing.

To say there's a dust infestation in here would be an understatement. Every single layer of this small cramped studio is coated in dust. The floors is wooden, but the poor thing looks as though it's a stomp away from snapping into pieces. There's a small kitchen across, clearly untouched for a while. There's an old mattress on the floor that's coasted with dust, and a small window just above it.

There's a door for the bathroom, and another door as a closet.

Nothing else.

There's not even a lamp anywhere, and when Jeongguk flickered the switch against the wall, the ceiling light bulb only flickered before turning off completely.

Okay, this place is a dump, literally.

Not like from the outside it looks any better. This building use to be an art studio before it was left abandoned, then having it become part of Phoenix territory for the children who haven't had any homes. However the place itself is vacant. No one is in this building but them, but for their protection it's wise for them to be in the same spot together.

They're safe here either way.

So with that being said, this place hasn't had a proper care in years, explaining the spider webs against the wall and skitters of possible rats from the room above.

Fantastic.

"Well, I'm going to check if the bathroom is somewhat sanitized," Jeongguk chirps, dropping his bag on the floor and moving to the doors to further check out the place.

Taehyung is still a sneezing mess so he had to step out to get some clear air, meanwhile Jimin just goes to the kitchen and checks out the place. Good thing for the window that's giving some sort of light in here, helping Jimin be able to check the water from the sink to notice it's working well with clean water. The fridge is empty - obviously - and there's gas for the stove. All in all, this place is working well.

It just needs a little attention.

"The bathroom could use some cleaning, but it's bearable," Jeongguk spoke while Jimin was checking the cabinets, "I'll see if I can go with Taehyung to the bodega down the street for supplies and some food."

Jimin hums, closing the cabinets without saying anything more.

This is starting to bug Jeongguk off, a lot.

He eyed Jimin for a moment more before sighing and walking towards him, just as he checks if the microwave is working, "Okay, what's the deal?"
