Entering Karasuno High was no problem as you passed the gates, walked through the halls, till you found your classroom. You took a seat beside the window, despite how much of a protagonist-like your seat is, you prefer looking out of the window while the teacher's drones on- Tobio's case- or when you're just bored.

Like now.

The class hasn't started and your classmates are chattering with girls gossiping on the latest whatever, guys checking said girls out or in some cases, other boys- or just both genders just mingling. You heard a few whispering near your seat talking about soulmates. You absentmindedly looked at your arm that had grey hearts, at first they've been black but soon they turned somewhere between grey and blue.

Blackhearts usually mean rejected, grey stands for either they're dead or you don't remember them, blue is for sad acceptance. You could remember the blurry rejection from Tobio's memories, but you can't pinpoint the faces of your supposed soulmates. The faces that were clear as day turned muddled as dirty water. But you couldn't careless as you focused on school.

Volleyball practice was taking Tobio's annoyance to new heights, cause not only does the tangerine of a teammate, Hinata, can jump high, but he also sucks at his receives. Thankfully they weren't kicked out of the gym thanks to your never-ending patience and relaxed bearing. If Tobio were to let his annoyance and competitive side take over, you were sure he would've been kicked out.

Your teammates were an odd bunch; Daichi was a support column that held the team, his defensive skills were strong. Sugawara was the senpai who supports the team emotionally. Tanaka was. . .loud as Hinata, that's for sure, but he's also supporting. And the other second-years were friendly.

But this french fry teammate seems to love making you rile up by calling you "King", the name Tobio was given. And it not only irritated Tobio but also you, but you decided to talk to him even though he's a salty french fry. His partner was a strawberry missing the color red, who snickers at every insult his salty friend throws. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were their names.

And Hinata was a literal ball of sunshine, who was loud, hyper, excited, and many more things associated with bright. But he was kind after he forgave your- Tobio's- previous aggressiveness. And soon became somewhat a little brother figure to you.

Takeda-sensei was kind and did everything he could to help the club. Even begging the school where your- Tobio's- former teammates went.

What luck.

'I still can't believe you finished those three cartons of milk.'

'It has calcium, good for the bones, and it tastes good.'

'I bought those cause I thought those will last for a month or so!'

'Y/n-san, my appetite along with yours is something that you should consider.'

You pouted at Tobio's internal response as you picked up a carton of milk before placing it in the basket, beside the other two. If it weren't for your job, you would've been broke. You chastised Tobio that he will have to control his urging, especially for food. His respond?

'I'll try.'

Honestly, that boy is a literal baby.

Placing your groceries on the scanner of the register, you took out your wallet before paying the amounted price. After the man placed the groceries in woven green bags, you took them and proceeded to walk out of the market if it weren't for the voice that called you.

"Kageyama?"

You looked to see familiar spiky hair with narrow eyes and a delicate face with hair parted in the middle, Kindaichi, and Kunimi. Tobio's feelings became unstable waves, to which you steeled behind walls of ice as you brush them with feathers of solace. You weren't sure what you were supposed to do, so you gave them an awkward wave before finally exiting the market.

Tobio internally sighs in relief, to which you gave an internal pat at the back. You smiled at the groceries in your hand, now you had the ingredients to make gnocchi, a potato dough dish that you craved in your old life. You couldn't wait to eat it with the blue cheese sauce. You could just taste the potato with the creamy sauce and a hint of flavor from the blue cheese, though, the dough would be a bit tricky since it was mash with potatoes-

"Well look what we have here?"

All the excitement you and Tobio had gone down the drain when an obnoxious voice was directed to you. You turned to see . . . a freaking Chad had appeared. His hair was swept back with red dye, slanted green eyes leered at your body as his leaned body walked up to you. "You shouldn't be alone at this time, why not let me escort you home~?" Even his voice sounded like a playboy!

You blankly stared at him. "Sorry, I don't walk with strangers that want my virginity."

He chuckled, sliding into your personal space. "Come on doll, it won't hurt to have someone bring you home, right?~"

" Sorry but no." You then walked away from him when he grabbed your arm, which still held your groceries!

"Don't be like that." You could hear the pout in his voice. "You don't have your soulmate around, so why not let me?!~"

You sigh irritatedly before taking back your arm, putting the bags on the ground, before whipping in his direction. " First of all, no. Second, you're trying to get me to sleep with you and I'll still say no despite how many times you say you'll make me feel good like do I give a fuck?" You replied before he could speak, his eyes bulging. "Not one. How many fucks do I give? Zero." Then you clapped in his face. "EXACTLY! So therefore your comment is," You then gave him a raspberry with your middle finger raised at him. "Irrelevant."

And you had the delicious time to indulge in his bumbling humiliation before his face turned red with fury. "You little bitch!" You didn't care even when he held you by the collar, but Tobio felt scared. "You little shit, want me to kill your slutty ass?!"

The word kill made you thrum with adrenaline as your spine tingled with electricity, fingers twitching as you looked at the man with no doubt a bloodlusty smile.

"What do you know about killing?" You sweetly asked. The guy's pupils shrunk with fear, hastily letting you go before running away. You dusted yourself from his germs, grabbed your bags, and headed home to make a dish you haven't made before.

Unaware of two pairs of eyes gazing at you, two boys who have seen the whole thing.
