After making up with Kindaichi -although he looked real distraught after that- you and your team got ready to head back to the van. You ignored the stares of Iwaizumi, choosing to tune out as your captain, Daichi-san, talked to the team. You don't mean to be disrespectful, but you were kinda wondering what happened to that fangirl, she disappeared sometime during the game.
A voice disrupted you from your thoughts, the same one that was the source of Tobios' problems. "Yahoo, Tobio-chan."
Your eyes met familiar mocha eyes, eyes that usually held jealousy and hatred now mellowed too. . . why in the f*ckity f*ck was he sad? That came along with regret and - an emotion you kept on seeing in your former batchmate's eyes - longing. That just confused you, but that didn't change your perception of him. You weren't usually petty, but for now, just this once.
"Ara? Well, isn't it the senpai who almost hit me in my 1st year of middle school!" You said with faked surprise. And you relish the shock on his face, it made you internally smile with glee as you continued without the fake surprise. "Sorry, but I'm not in the mood of talking to you right now." You combed your fingers through your hair. "Maybe another time?"
Oikawa's eyes held too much pain, it almost looked like he was about to cry."Please, can we just talk?"
"About what?"
"About our bo-"
"THERE HE IS!"
Ripping your attention off your former senpai, you turned to see the queen bee fangirl with her dark hair in a ponytail and light green eyes glaring at you with venom. Beside her was. . . the perv who disturbed you at the market? You looked at them and see no resemblance between them, only their green eyes and their different shades!?
You watched as the red-head perve looked at you and . . . cowered. His sister was not happy. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, BAKA!?"
The perv was shivering behind her. "DON'T UNDERESTIMATE HIM! HE'S DANGEROUS!"
" WHAT MAKES A MODEL DANGEROUS!?"
"THE FACT THAT THAT ONE KILLED PEOPLE!"
"I GET THAT HE'S SCARY LOOKING BUT PL-EASE! HE'S MY AGE!"
You couldn't help but let the amused smile take over as you took out the toy knife you had, just to scare people. With the knife in your hands, you started walking over to them, knife in hand swinging as you sent them a harmless smile. You reveled the way as the brother crawled even further from you as his sister became wary, eyes on the knife.
"Kageyama, what are you doing?!" Sugawara.
"I KNOW THAT SHE IRRITATED YOU BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU COULD KILL HER!" Hinata.
"YOU SAID YOU WERE MESSING WITH HER!" Tanaka.
"TOBIO-CHAN!" Oikawa.
And other voices you ignored as you reached arm's length from the girl, loving the way she's starting to shiver as you walked closer to her. You stopped walking as soon as you were beside her frozen statue, shoulder touching.
Without wasting a moment, you swiped the knife at her, making her lean back to avoid it. Using this, you pushed her back, before going behind her knife at her neck, feet under her knees to immobilize her legs, and your free hand to cover her eyes to prevent her from moving her head.
You smiled a bit as she fidgets in her position, looking over to see her eyes have shrunken from fear, foam coming out of her lips. "Got you."
You untangled yourself from her, laying her gently on the ground. After standing up, you sent a playful smile at the spectators ( your shocked teammates and mortified Seijoh team) as you bent the rubber knife, revealing the toy.
"THAT WAS A TOY!?" Tanaka shouted in disbelief.
"It's better than hurting anyone," you replied as you walked back to your teammates, amused at their speechlessness. Hinata then suddenly hugged your side. " I CLAIM YOU AS MY BEST FRIEND! AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE!"
"All right you Tangerine."
Ignoring his angry protests, you focused your gaze on the only member who seems not disturbed and rather amusingly impressed. Tsukishima. He smirked at you as your eyes meet. "Oh my, looks like the King is dangerous." he teased, making you give him a half-lidded smile.
"But you love this dangerous king, don't you? Tsu-KI-SHI-ma." you teased back, and with every syllable of his name, you got closer to his face. You intentionally emphasized the Kishi as an added bullet.
You just loved how his face blew into flaming red, stumbling on his retort to you, though you walked past them.
You're hungry for some cookies right now.
