Chapter Seven: Contracts and Cafés
"Jaemin!" Jeno's voice cut through the air as he chased after his boyfriend.
Jaemin halted, turning around with an exasperated sigh. "What is it, Jeno? I've told you, I'm not signing that ridiculous contract."
Jeno's shoulders sagged as he approached, his love for Jaemin conflicted with his commitment to Renjun. "If you're uncomfortable with this, we don't have to go through with it, okay?" he offered gently.
Jaemin's eyes glistened with unshed tears, and he began to sniffle. Instinctively, Jeno wrapped him in a comforting embrace, his heart aching at the sight of Jaemin's distress.
"Jeno, I'm sorry," Jaemin's voice trembled. "I know how much you love Renjun. I love him too. I just wish I could give him a baby. I want to be able to do that for him."
The truth was that Jaemin's infertility made the idea of having a child impossible for him. He couldn't get pregnant or father a child, and that realization weighed heavily on him.
"I understand," Jeno murmured, gently rubbing Jaemin's back as he wept. "But it's okay, Nana. You don't have to worry. Renjun and I will love you just the same, no matter what."
Jaemin nodded, lifting his tear-streaked face from Jeno's shoulder. "Thanks, babe. But what about Renjun? We can't divorce until we've given him a child."
Jeno offered a reassuring smile. "It's fine. We don't plan on divorcing Renjun, do we?"
"No," Jaemin agreed.
"See? Now let's get these contracts signed so we can take Renjun to the café," Jeno said, trying to lift the mood.

Hand in hand, Jeno and Jaemin led Renjun to a charming local café. Jeno had a special fondness for this place since Jaemin's mom worked there and often gave them generous treats. The couple was eager to introduce Renjun to her, knowing she'd adore him.
"Hey, boys!" Jaemin's mom greeted warmly from behind the counter. Renjun couldn't help but notice her striking beauty; it was clear where Jaemin got his good looks.
The couple waved and ushered Renjun to the counter. "Hey, Mom," Jaemin said cheerfully. "This is Renjun."
The woman's eyes widened with delight. "Oh my goodness! He's absolutely adorable. I just want to pinch his cheeks!" she exclaimed, her excitement palpable. She didn't seem to notice the curious glances from other customers.
Jaemin laughed, though his tone was tinged with sarcasm. "Sorry, Mom. Renjun's only ours to pinch."
Renjun's cheeks flushed crimson at the playful remark. He shifted uncomfortably, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sudden attention.
"Renjun-ah," Jaemin called softly, noticing his discomfort.
"Yes?" Renjun responded, looking up.
"Would you like me to pinch you?" Jaemin asked with a teasing grin.
Renjun's eyes widened in surprise. What?! The unexpected question left him momentarily speechless, caught between embarrassment and amusement.
