Sunny x Reader ✦ Confession || Part Two

Definitely please read the first part first! I was requested by Maris_Neck to make a part two, so thank you! Also, lime warning towards the ending. Please beware of that in case that's not your thing! Super important note, everyone in this chapter (and basically all of my current chapters) is 18 or older.

As you finished the end of you and Sunny's entire love story, you could hear Aubrey screaming on the other end. You had to bring your phone away from your ear as Sunny covered his mouth to stifle a laugh.

You couldn't quite comprehend what Aubrey was saying (due to a combination of her bad Wi-Fi and how much she was freaking out), but you heard something along the lines of, "That is so sickeningly cute! I hate it and love it so much! How do I properly react to this?!"

Kel was also reacting similarly screeching like a pterodactyl. Mari had shortly joined the call in the midst of your story time, so she decided not to interrupt. After it looked like Kel and Aubrey had calmed down a little, she said, "I know right?! I'm more leaning towards the side of loving it, but at the same time...my little Sun Bun is all grown up now!" She faked a sniffle and then giggled. Sunny grimaced as he heard the cringy nickname. You could hear Hero in the background say, "I wholeheartedly agree!"

It looked like the majority of your friend group luckily approved of the relationship, not like you realistically expected otherwise. The only person that hadn't verbally announced their approval was Basil, but he messaged the group chat saying he wouldn't join the call since it causes him immense anxiety.

The call ended a few minutes after some typical banter. You looked at Sunny and laughed. He was so confused, but you were just overjoyed that things had gone over so smoothly. Your phone vibrated due to Mari's text.

Mari : Brilliant idea everyone!!

Basil : what is it??

Mari : The fair is coming up soon, we should go as a group! Hero said he would pay for everything. Who's in? Obviously Sunny and (Y/N) don't have a choice. We've always wanted to do a double date!

Aubrey : fine. but no pda pls

Hero : Can't promise anything ;)

Kel : EWWWWWWW- BuT sure.

Basil : alrighty !

Kel : hELLLLOOO???? SunnY? (y/NNN)?!

Sunny shook his head and picked up his phone, directly replying to where Mari said that you two were obliged to attend.

Sunny : (Direct Reply to Mari) Seems as if it's already been chosen for us.

Mari : Hehe!! Well, it's settled! This Saturday, let's meet each other there! I'll text more details ASAP.

You decided to wear something casual that would also keep you decently warm. You look in the mirror and nod to yourself happily. Though you did look a little on the tired side...due to you staying up a little too late chatting on the phone with Sunny, you were still happy you would be able to hang out with one of your friends.
