evelyn rogers had witnessed the consequences of war first handed. war left a void in her once warm house. the two people who should have been by her and her brother's side had been lost to the grounds on which the soldiers fought.
her parents had died, giving their life trying to protect others. protecting the innocent was the main value joseph and sarah rogers wanted to teach their children. stand up for the people who are weaker and support those in need.
when it was time for those children to start fighting their own battles and wars, they fought by that value. they fought with honor and tried to safe every life they could. and evelyn and steve rogers would continue to do so until their last breath.
