The rest of the day was a wreck. Tanner Kept trying to talk to me, and I kept ignoring him. I couldn't stop thinking about Troy. He was a jerk and he deserved the truth, but I didn't expect him to kill himself. I didn't know he was so upset about my reaction. he did deserve my reaction, he WAS cheering on me. Killing himself was just him overreacting like he always does. I was really upset but I didn't kill myself, did I?
After school, my head was spinning. I decided to text Austin.

AUSTIN- thinking about you 😘 wanna go to the park
KINSEY- 😘 uh ya, see you in a few

"So I was thinking, we should make this official. will you be my girlfriend?" Austin asked.
"Of course, I thought you'd never ask." I replied."
We laughed and talked for hours; that is until my mom called.
"Where are you young lady!!! If you're off having 'fun' with Troy-"
"TROY IS DEAD! YOU GOT THAT? DEAD!" I screamed into the phone and hung up. I started sobbing.
"Wh-who's Troy? I mean it's ok if you don't want to tell me." Austin asked.
"He's my ex." I replied.
"Is he the guy from the party?" He asked.
"No, that's Tanner. Troy was cheating on me so I was really hard on him. He was so upset that he hung himself after cutting my name into his arm." I replied.
"Oh" he said. After that, our "date" was really awkward.
