Our first stop was the food court, of course. I LOVE FOOD! What goes on in my head? I don't even know. I had a soft pretzel and a medium sprite.
We shopped around until I saw... Tanner, entering the American Eagle. "Let's go in there." I prompted my friends.
"Oooh yeah there has GOT to be at least one cute guy there!" Liz exclaimed.
We hurried in and I spied on Tanner. He saw me and I pretended not to see him. I waited for him to approach me, and he did.
"Oh hey Tanner what's up?" I said as casually as possible.
"Shopping for Alyssa's birthday. what about you" he happily replied.
My heart sank. Alyssa was his girlfriend. Maybe he just wanted to make me jealous. I don't know but I had to get out of there.
"Oh I'm here with my friends" I replied. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and pretended that I got a text. "that's them. I have to go. Bye!"
I want back to Meg and Liz and told them what happened. I left out his name and the fact that I knew him. they squealed with delight. We spent the next few hours shopping and gossiping.

"Ooh! Is it the new guy you met!?" They questioned.
