Finding out

a week after the football game

padme pov: her and Anakin had been together for a week now they still hadn't told anyone about them being together. Padme and Anakin had both agreed to keep their relationship on the down low for now because they weren't ready to be "high school couple of the century" but the first people they would tell would be their parents/guardians and then there friends. Ahsoka had already had some suspicions about them since the football game, since Padme told her that she was going to ask Anakin then after the game Padme said that she didn't tell him? But anyways her and Anakin had been having a great time being together, they still haven't said I love you yet, but Padme knew that they would say it at a good time and right now wasn't the time yet. Padme knew that Anakin had a crush on her since they were little but Padme hadn't really started having feelings for him until the beginning of this year and a bit last year. This year a lot of things had changed for Padme her older sister had gotten engaged, Padme was in senior year, her and Anakin had gotten together, she had made a new friend Ahsoka, she got closer to Rex and she became captain of the debate club. This year Padme was determined to get into Harvard it had been her dream since she was a little girl and had mostly gotten all a's her whole life but the only problem was she didnt want to leave Anakin but Padme hadn't even thought about that, but she didn't want to think about that. Yesterday her sister was visiting and of course over heard Padme talking to Anakin on the phone. What a disaster, Padme had to explain to her sister that her and Anakin were just friends but her Sister wasn't buying it so Padmes sister found out about her and Anakin but she promised not to tell anyone before her sister left the room she told Padme this "you know sis high school relationships never work out I wouldn't keep your hopes up" that made Padme worry what if her sister was right what if they wouldn't last forever. Padme was thinking about what her sister said all day long.

anakin pov: Anakin was about to go hang out with Ahsoka and Rex for the day, he was planning on going with Padme today but her sister was in town for a while and he let Padme be with her sister. Padme told Anakin that her sister found out, Anakin didn't mind as long as she didn't tell anyone. Anakin was waiting for Rex to come by his house then they were going to go pick up Ahsoka. Anakin, Rex and Ahsoka all had a group chat Rex texted and said he was 4 minutes away from Anakins house, Ahsoka responded and said I call front seat. Rex finally got to Anakins house and Anakin decided to sit in the front seat to mess with Ahsoka because they teased eachother like brother and sister. Anakin and Rex were just talking in the car on the way to pick up Ahsoka, Rex asked Anakin why Padme didn't want to come and very quickly Anakin said that Padmes older sister was in town and Padme wanted to spend time with her before she had to leave again and that also Padme was helping her sister with wedding stuff. Rex was surprised that Anakin knew all of that because Padme never told Rex about any of that.
