Still Saturday 25th March 1973

Later in the day, after the girls had enjoyed their little feast, Lily had dragged Remus and Marlene to the library with her, as the blonde was dangerously close to falling behind in Charms. Alice was with Frank Longbottom, who had offered to assist with her Herbology essay once again.

Madiha lay on her bed feeling exceedingly annoyed at how persistent her cramps were, Madame Pomfrey's painkilling potion had made some improvement to her problem, but the ache was still as present as ever. Still dressed comfortably in her pyjamas, she somehow managed to get off her bed and leave the room to head for the boys' dormitory, all the while trying to stop herself from doubling over in pain.

She opened their door to find Sirius contentedly reading a book on his bed, but a cautious look appeared on his face when he realised that she was there.

He seemed to think carefully before speaking.

"Sorry for freaking out on everyone before. I—I thought something really bad happened to you."

Madiha walked over to him with raised eyebrows.

"I think you should say sorry to the others, they're the ones who had to deal with you."

He grinned slightly, making space for her to sit on the bed.

"Funny joke, Dia. I'm never getting caught apologising to Marlene."

She merely rolled her eyes before lying down on her side comfortably beside him. Sirius went back to reading his book and she decided to hold his free hand for a bit.

It felt like her cramps came and went like strong waves, getting better for a few moments before it felt like she was stabbed in the abdomen repeatedly. Currently, the ache had subsided a little, so she allowed her eyes to shut, trying to relish a few painless minutes before they started all over again.

This small moment was not one she was allowed to enjoy, however, as she felt a light sprinkling of water on her face.

Madiha opened her eyes to find an immensely proud-looking James Potter standing with a watering can over her head—she didn't even want to know where the can came from.

"What the hell are you doing?"

The boy either ignored or did not seem to catch the murderous tone of her voice, nor the horrified look Sirius was directing at him.

"Alice said to keep you well-fed and watered," he answered.

At that moment, Remus walked in looking thunderous.

"Are you fucking stupid? She's not a bloody plant, Alice meant to keep her hydrated."

Now, James' expression changed from one of self-assuredness to fear, but he still did not seem to have processed that the water dropping on Madiha's face should be stopped before he met a very sorry end.
