Thursday, 5th July 1973Dear Sirius,
I hope you're doing better than when you wrote me your letter. I loved reading it, by the way. Literally can't believe Mia even let the four of you near her kitchen when she knows how reckless James can be (and you too, I refuse to believe you didn't play a role in the cupcake fiasco). And yes, next time I will help Pete when he tries to teach you lot, since you're all hopelessly dysfunctional without me.
Enough about your antics.
You won't believe this but my cousin, Suhayl, took Raina (my other cousin) and I to fly on his motorbike. He actually made it fly! Apparently, he spent four months trying to get the charm right and it was so, so fun (Raina screamed a lot at first but even she enjoyed herself at the end). We flew over Lahore for nearly an hour, and I think that was one of the best experiences of my life. It was honestly beautiful.
When we were sneaking back into the house, we got caught by my Dado, aunt and mum and we were probably going to get into so much trouble if it hadn't been for Dad and Chachu. They thought all of it was pretty funny and they even praised Suhayl for getting the charm to work.
Adam was really pissed off because we didn't take him with us and Suhayl spent an hour promising to take him with him next time he went. I think that was worse than getting told off by Dado, to be honest.
Oh, and don't worry I've played loads and loads of Quidditch—I think I might get sick of it. I played a match on the street with some of the neighbourhood kids and they were all so surprised I could hit the bludger so well, especially because I'm a girl.
And suddenly, I was really happy that I'm on the Quidditch team.
Anyway, how's Reg? How many more books has he managed to read? Tell him I want to hear all about them when I get back.
I think my letter's gotten pretty long now, so I'm gonna wrap it up. I'll be waiting to hear back from you soon.
Missing you too,
Madiha a.k.a. definitely NOT your one true love :)
P.S. I think I'd quite like to see you jealous if I'm being completely honest.
P.P.S. Yes, please use a faster owl, I don't like having such a long delay between letters and I think your owl got way too tired delivering yours.

Dear Mads,
Thought I should let you know that you definitely should NOT believe Sirius if he tells you that it was James' fault that the cupcakes got burned.
