7am - playboi carti
emma's blonde hair sway as your sweaty hand clasps hers tightly. you aren't shy, but getting surrounded by this amount of scary-looking boys isn't the best thing to ever happen to anyone. you sneak a glance towards a boy you heard about, keisuke. his fangs can be seen even from the distance you two have, his silky hair looking prettier under the street light.
the revving sound of motorcycles engines fill the atmosphere and your heart beats at the same fast pace of the loud music playing in the background. you can see smoke coming from here and there, along with laughters of people and the smell of cigarettes.
you were too focused on a man laughing when you accidentally bump into a tall boy, his torso becoming frozen when coming in contact with your body. the amount of people crowding the place isn't helping either. you are stuck on a stranger, with no chance to apologise because you're basically hugging him—who seems to feel like a mannequin.
"i'm sorry, i accidentally kicked something," you hope for him to hear you, slightly panicking as well when you can't feel emma's hand in yours anymore.
you look up confused from the lack of response. a pair of lips—with a pretty scar running through them—meet with your gaze. you move your eyes upwards, and see cold blue eyes staring everywhere except you. no, they aren't cold. panicked and scared. that's what his eyes tell you.
is he okay? you opened your mouth to say something when emma finally comes back, sweating from when she realised you were gone. "god, how did you just disappear? i almost shit mysel– oh, you met hakkai." a mischievous smile appears on her lips while saying the last sentence.
he seems less tense with emma in sight. though, no words, still frozen as a stone without opening his mouth.
"this is shiba hakkai. a member of touman, duh. but i think you guys haven't met before, am i right?" emma introduces with an amused look. what's up with her?
the taller figure moves. amazing. he's not a mannequin after all. you smile at his face, seeing him look away after two seconds of eye contact. by now, you have already figured it out. he's shy. how cute, you thought.
you hold out a hand for him to take while introducing your name and it takes him approximately 20 seconds before timidly reaching out back with his hand freezing as if he touched ice. he's really helpless. in an adorable way.
the blonde-haired female slaps his back. "cmon now, she doesn't bite—i think. the important thing here is she's a nice friend of mine, so don't be too scared, okay? and please don't let her feel too awkward," emma finishes her half-whisper speech that you obviously can hear, and squeezes your hand to signal that she's on her way to draken.
leaving you and hakkai alone. from one glance, he certainly has the delinquent look, with a hint of uniqueness, rocking an earring on one ear and a pattern shaved on the side of his head. it's pretty. he is pretty.
"so..... why haven't i seen you before?" you try to start a conversation with the boy, though, only receiving a small "i don't know," he gives off a feeling that reminds you of a scared puppy. his eyes definitely made you think of one.
you let out a laugh without you realising, leaving the already nervous boy to be even more nervous and conscious when he sees your sudden smile that seems to be targeted towards him. his eyes screams "what's wrong? what's funny?" he is communicating through his face and you get it all. you get him.
"i'm sorry. it's just that you're really cute, hakkai." you blurt it out like it's nothing. the sudden compliment leaves the boy dizzy, the tip of his ears turning red and he can feel his neck getting warm. "what?" he finally let out a question, voice as soft as ever.
then, it stays quiet that for a while. sighing as you are getting tired of the awkwardness, you pull his wrist—feeling him shocked under your touch but agreeing anyway— and takes him away from the crowd.
"take me on a ride." you bat your eyelashes towards the boy as he stares at you with mouth open. contrasting with his worried expression, he quickly starts his motorcycle and shyly gives you his helmet, helping you get on.
he sees the way your thighs expose themselves when you sit behind him and it get his heart thumping but hakkai being hakkai, he immediately looks away.
with the sound of his heart loudly beating, he takes you away from the smell of cigarettes and sweaty crowd. "hold tight," he whispers and you make sure to hold him close as you feel the breeze rush over the two of you, making your school skirt sway.
after a while, you start to feel scared of the harsh wind threatening to push your skirt up. you are about to tell him to slow down when one of his hand left the handle and goes to your thigh.
hakkai is holding your skirt down, with one hand as the other is holding the motorcycle handle. it almost makes you want to kiss him right then and there, but you know better than that. you whisper a small thank you to his ear and you swear his ears turned red from it.
hopping off his bike after hours of going around the city with him, he finally decides to send you home. "its not nice of me to keep you outside so late," he said.
you have an enormous grin on your face as he helps you take off the helmet with one click of his hand. by now he isn't as nervous, but intense eye contact still gives him stomachache. with the grin still on your face, you step closer to him and you can smell his scent. he smells amazing, like a luxurious-smelling cologne.
he starts to sweat from the way you look at him, to your warmth on his body and your sweet smell on him. you keep coming closer, too close that he instinctively closes his eyes. he wants to run away, but he can't push you. instead, the rush he's feeling is making him feel things he has never felt before. he loves it.
"thank you for today, you cutie," you whisper before kissing his cheek softly, leaving the boy star-strucked as he let out a smile alone.
