Dawson's POV

Tomorrow was our game an man I was so excited! I have been hanging out with Lauren everyday for the past week and we both are so happy! we call each other all hours of the night even text when we can, talk at practice. she is so amazing, yes I know i'm only 12 an I don't know what "love" is but hey let a guy live! anyways, I had been helping Bombay put new ice on the rink since Sam was too lazy to. we had just finished an Bombay walked off before calling us over

B- boys come on!

we both smiled at each other before skating off the ice, we removed our skates and put on our actually shoes before walking to where Bombay was expect it wasn't our mother we saw, our dad was standing there with a smile on his face talking to Bombay with Uncle Fulton and Eli right there

De- hey guys, your mom is having a little get to together with some of our old duck friends so I told Fult an I would take you guys out to eat before I have to drop you guys off at practice! how does that sound?

I was skeptical about it but agreed to it. we got in the truck an dad started to drive, they had metal music playing and for once I saw my dad actually happy. he was laughing and jamming out to music with Fulton.. I started to join along an they hyped me up with it

De- do the beat kid! this is for you!

I played the beat on my seat an they cheered once it was done, I was laughing so much. I saw we had pulled up to the Chinese restaurant an we all got out walking in. Dad paid as we walked in before we all went to find our seats before going to get our food. it was a opened buffet so we got to get as much as we wanted, we sat down and they started telling us some stories of how they were back when they played hockey together

Da- wait wait! you guys really were called the bash brothers???

they chuckled but nodded

F- yeah we got the name by Mr. Tibbles, man i hated that guy

De- trust me so did I, but if it weren't for him we wouldn't have ever met an I would have never met Dani

we all nodded, I gave a half smile it being weird hearing him talk about mom in a nice way instead of a mean manor

S- did you guys every do anything crazy on the ice??

they looked at each other smirking before looking at us

De- I throw a guy into the glass of the boards over my back breaking the glass

we looked at him with wide eyes

F- I didn't do anything too crazy like that expect hit one of the iceland guys in the head with a punk during the goodwill games

they continued to talk and tell stories while we listened, it was so nice to hear all of this. eventually we all finished eating an dad drove Eli to Fulton's to stay with his wife and drove us to practice saying he will be back before we went in

Danielle's POV

I spent half the day cleaning the whole apartment for this hang out, the ducks where coming over and man was I excited. I haven't seen them expect Connie and Guy in so long! eventually I heard a knock on the door so I ran to answer it revealing Averman, Adam, Ken, Connie, Dwayne (of course), Guy. I hugged them all an they came in taking a seat in the living room
