Dawson's POV

I got up the next morning and rushed to get ready, Lauren and I were having our date tonight and man I was nervous. she told me to wear something comfy so that's what I did, I put on my black sweats with a white hoodie before walking into the living room where my mom and dad were

Da- where uh dwayne, eli and sam?

Mom looked at me with a small smile

D- they are with Uncle Dwayne at his hotel for a bit, you excited for your little date?

I nodded with a huge smile making her chuckle, of course my father remained silent

D- well I hope it goes well, are you walking or do you want me to drive you?

Da- I can walk, it's only 2 blocks!

she nodded an I gave her a quick kiss on the head before saying I loved her and put on my sneaks before walking out and heading to Lauren's. I knocked on her door holding a flower that I had picked on the way here, she opened the door wearing a Hufflepuff robe smiling so big before hugging me

L- I'm so excited! is that for me?

Da- oh uh yeah!

I handed her the flower an she thanked me before letting me inside. we walked into her living room an she had it all set up, popcorn, chocolate frogs, and some other harry potter related treats. she had the first movie paused on the opening credits on her TV, I looked at her as she held up a Slytherin robe making me chuckle

L- every Hufflepuff has to have a Slytherin compain!

I smiled and put on the robe before she handed me a wand than we took a seat on her couch. the movie started to play an she leaned into my side so I put my arm around her. she made some jokes here an there, making me laugh at how corny they were. we had just gotten through the chamber of secrets when I heard soft snores coming from my side, I looked an saw she had fallen asleep. I smiled to myself before carefully placing her head on the pillow while covering her with a blanket. I turned off the TV an took off the robe folded it neatly before leaving it on the table with the wand. I put away the food before leaving her a note saying I went home with a little heart, I put her glasses on the table before giving her a kiss on the cheek. I decided it was time to head home so I put on my shoes and walked on home with a bright smile covering my face

Danielle's POV

Dawson had just left an Dean was sitting on his phone, I chose to tell him about yesterdays events with Dawson since he still is his father

D- dean.

he didn't even look up at me

D- dean!

he looked at me with a annoyed expression

De- what women?! what do you want?!

I rolled my eyes but held back my angry

D- I need to tell you something that went down with Dawson yesterday

De- can't it wait?! I'm in a middle of texting back Fulton

D- it cant wait Dean!

he rolled his eyes before putting his phone on the table looking at me

De- what the FUCK is so important you are making me listen to your stupid ass!

D- Dawson was cutting himself in the bathroom yesterday. he heard us fighting Dean, our son is falling into a deep hole because of us! because of our fighting and how you treat him!

Dean scuffed crossing his arms

De- he is probably just doing it to get our attention! that's what most kids his age do! don't go blaming his dumb ass actions on me okay?! you aren't any better asshole

I looked at him with nothing but a pissed off expression

D- he isn't doing it for a attention! Dean, he needs us! he needs his father to help him show that he actually fucking loves him!

De- whatever. he is fine, sorry he is too much of a PUSSY to handle things like a man

that was the last straw, i stood up walking to the door. I put on my shoes and walked out of the house slamming the door. I just needed to walk to clear my head that's all, I was about a block away from the house when I saw him.. he was looking right at me, my heart was racing out of my chest. 

R- hey Dani!

he started walking towards me so I turned around an took off running, sadly my small legs aren't very fast so he caught up fairly quick an grabbed my wrist making me turn to him as I fought his grip

D- let me go Rick!

R- I just want to talk is all! 

I kept fighting his grip not wanting to even by around him

R- I missed your face, missed seeing you everyday, I missed our little hangs out

I looked at him like he was stupid

D- hangs out?! you shoved pills down my throat! you choked me for fuck sake! you are sick Rick!

he did a low timid chuckle which gave me goosebumps and not the good kind

R- yeah I really wish you would have just died that day, so I wouldn't have to be spending my life with people looking at me like a monster

D- you are a god damn monster! you assaulted woman, including me! you needed major help Rick an clearly you need way more!

he rolled his eyes and realsed my wrist, I turned away from him and started walking off

R- I SAW YOUR KID TODAY, WALKING TO A GIRL'S HOUSE, YOU KNOW I WANTED MIND PAYING HIM A VISIT 

I stopped and turned around looking at him

D- YOU LEAVE MY KIDS ALONE! LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS YOU FUCKING CRAZED STALKER! YOU LEAVE HER ALONE TOO!

R- now why would I leave my own COUSIN alone?

my heart stopped.. what did he say (okay I know they aren't actually related but just go with it)

R- yeah, she's my cousin. you will seeing a lot more of me Dani!

he winked at me before turning and walking off, I felt sick to my stomach. I ended up puking in a near by bush before sped walking home.. this isn't gonna be good.. at all
