Dani's POV

I was in the cleaning the stables when my phone buzzed, I took it out an saw a text from Fulton that read "Faith, tried to kill herself. at the hospital now, update soon." my eyes widen as I read that messages, I texted him back an said "okay kept me posted Fult!" I stuffed my phone in my pocket an ran inside straight to Dawson's room. I didn't even knock an just opened the door making him look at me

Da- go away.

D- Dawson, Faith tried to kill herself.

he immediately stood up looking at me with wide eyes

Da- what.

D- Fulton just texted me saying she tried to kill herself, they are at the hospital now

Da- take me there now

he tried to walk out the door but I grabbed his arm stopping him

D- we can't, you have school an it's a 15 hour drive

he rolled his eyes an ripped his arm from my grip

Da- I don't give a rats ass about that mom! my best friend is in the god damn hospital for trying to kill herself. take me there or I will find another way

I took a deep breath trying to figure out what to do

D- she is gonna need space, we c-

he scuffed an walked away from me causing me to follow after him. he started slipping on his shoes so i stood in the way of the front door blocking him from leaving

D- you aren't going, I understand you want to see her but right now she needs time

Da- you don't know anything! you barely talk to her! so don't tell me what she fucking needs mom!

he tried to push past me but I stood my ground not moving, that was until he literally shoved me out of the way opening the front door an walking out. I chased after him as he started walking down the drive way

D- Dawson Reed Portman! get back here!

he stopped an turned to me with a angry look on his face

Da- why the fuck did you give me that name?! Reed an Portman?! God that's the worst fucking name

I was confused on why he was so mad about his middle name, his last name I understood but not Reed

D- Dawson what's going on? let down those damn walls an fucking tell me what's going on!

he just stared at me a bit longer before speaking

Da- he didn't tell you?

D- tell me what dude?

Da- Fulton hit Faith, that's why she tried to kill herself! 

I was shocked to say the least, are we even talking about the right Fulton

D- what..

Da- yeah mom, he fucking hit her over because he got mad during a fight! take me to Stillwater or I will find a way my self an you know I will

I looked at him before sighing already over this fight

D- you aren't going to Stillwater Dawson. that's final

I started to walk in the house but of course my kid had to have the last word

Da- you are a bitch! the worst person on earth! go to hell mom!

I didn't respond an just walked inside shutting the door, I lightly banged my head on the wall already feeling like the worst mom on earth. gotta love my life

Dawson's POV

I just stared at the house angry still fuming off me, I started throwing anything I could get my hands on which were buckets an garden supplies anything. I felt the salty tears falling from my face, I eventually gave up throwing everything and walked to the field sitting down. I heard footsteps behind me but I didn't turn around

??- baby? look I know your upset with me but um Faith is out of the hospital.. she's alright, we actually are going to uh pick her up 

I quickly whipped my head around looking at her with a smile

Da- really??? for real??

she nodded an I quickly got up hugging her

Da- I'm so sorry for calling you those things! I'm sorry!

D- it's alright kiddo, let's get in the truck. Grandma an Uncle Dwayne are gonna watch your brothers for us

I nodded as we walked to the truck, once we got in I couldn't stop smiling. I was finally gonna see her again an she's okay. The ride was nice, mom let me have AUX which was fucking amazing. I'm surprised she didn't lecture me for swearing but she didn't. We pulled up to Faith's house an I quickly got out of the truck once I saw Faith I was smiling like crazy person before running to her hugging her so damn tight

Da- I missed you so dang much!

Dani's POV

I watched the kids run inside making me smile before I walked inside with Olivia, I headed straight for the living room seeing Fulton with Kalani 

D- you are a whore Reed

he looked at me confused as I crossed my arms

F- what are you talking about? why are you even here?

D- well one you are cuddling a fucking bitch on your couch right after your god dang daughter just got out of the hospital which was your fault by the way!

K- it wasn't his fault

I looked right at her with a resting bitch

D- no one was fucking talking to you dumbass bitch

she stood up getting in my face as Olivia stood right next to me

K- better watch yourself

O-oh you think your scary? a turtle can be more scary than you

she swung at her but I caught her fist punching her dead center in the nose, Olivia and I started beating the shit out of her. Fulton pulled me off her but I turned around an slapped him hard shoving him

D- what gives you the god damn right to put your hands on your kid huh?!

I didn't let him respond before I shoved him hard again

F- I don't know alright! she had it coming!

I slapped him hard a crossed the face 

D- no she fucking didn't! I see why you are friends with Dean, you both are the same fucking monsters! you are a worthless piece of shit, you thinks hitting his kids is okay! 

I slapped him again making him hold in his face

D- you EVER put your hands on her or anybody else I will fucking not hesitant to put a double barrel shotgun in between your fucking eyes an pull the mother fucking trigger

F- you are a BITCH

I punched him hard in the nose hearing it break under my knuckles as Olivia walked over to me with a smile

O- nice hit!

I looked at her with a smirk

D- thanks sweetheart

she high fived me as we walked over to the stairs waiting for the kids to come down
