The un-rhythmic tapping of rain droplets against the window filled the room and Rose couldn't help but listen attentively. The rain had fallen all night and only ceased at the break of dawn. Rose still sat up In bed, with her back against the headboard, her train of thought going every which way, the argument from the previous day still burned Into her mind, she had barely slept.

She was very hungry but she sat there In bed, she didn't want to accidentally cross paths with Valice, he had said he would go out to get the sim cards, but, though their rooms were a little close to each other, Rose still had no way of knowing If Valice had gone out yet, considering the way most doors around this floor shut with little to no sound.

She turned to look at her ottoman where her new phone laid, she pressed the power button to look at the time, It read fifty-eight minutes after six. She stood and walked to her wardrobe, she pulled out the bag she had packed the day before then she pulled on her jacket.

Rose picked up her phone and contemplated going on now or just waiting until Valice bought her sim card so she could actually call someone. she knew she was proving Valice right, but she decided It would be better to just get on with It than drowning In guilt.

She could do this....

She mapped out her plan and concluded that she would look for a café or any place with strong Wi-Fi, she would then call using It. Throwing the big duffel bag over her shoulders, she pulled open her door quietly and walked out and towards the elevator. The hallways were dark and quiet, she glanced towards his door for a moment and shook her head to clear out any thoughts of stopping.

In a minute she was In the elevator heading to the main floor, the numbers blinked accordingly as she went down. The main floor was as quiet as she had hoped, she walked, with the heavy bag by her side, outside the main doors.

She hadn't thought this through thoroughly, she realized that when she peeped at the giant black-barred gates. There wasn't any point going through the front gates anyway, she knew the front was always flooded with guards. She leaned against a wall and sighed, she pulled out her phone from the jacket and checked the time again.

7:10 am

Surely wherever Valice had gone, he would be back any time soon, so resting against a wall and losing hope was not even an option.

"Signora? Ti sei perso?" Rose whirled her head swiftly, positive that she had most probably shifted her brain. She stared with sweaty palms at the man In front of her, she didn't understand what he had said, but It didn't matter, she wasn't supposed to let anyone at all see her, a woman In a jacket with a big duffel bag looked too good to not tell your boss.

Before she could say anything though—not that she knew what to say—someone spoke up from behind the man and Rose's temperature went down another degree,

"Che cos'è?" She recognized the voice and that just made everything worse, now she knew he definitely knew she was running away.

"Todd" she greeted and forced a small smile, hoping It would shift his focus from the bag she held, It didn't work, his eyes shot to the bag Immediately.

"What's going on?" he asked as he narrowed his eyes suspiciously. By now the man that had seen her first had gone back In, but not after sending her a narrow glare.

"I..." she trailed off as she looked around, her eyes settled on her phone and she smiled,

"Valice just got me a phone, I need to get a sim card for It"

"With your whole closet coming along?" Todd asked with a cocked eyebrow

"Oh, I forgot about that, It's..."
