"Mason..." I said with tears in my eyes. I grabbed his arm with my numb hand.
He ripped his arm from my hand and looked at me with disgust.
"I already said I hooked up with Victoria! Get off my back!" He yelled shaking me off.
"But...But why?!" I said getting angry.
"You told me you loved me..." I said as he walked away trailing off into sadness...into darkness.

I woke up to the sound of my ringtone quietly playing. I looked around taking up my surroundings and realized what happened. I was numb from the crying and struggling. I checked my phone and it was 6:30?! Iv been sleeping here for an hour and a half! After mason broke my heart I knocked out on my special spot. The edge of a cliff facing a waterfall on the other side in a forest beside it. Also the perfect place to see the sunset and sunrise. I quickly struggled to click the answer call.
"Where are you??" My mom asked.
"I know I know sorry I lost track of time I just realized and was heading back home now," I told her making up a quick excuse. Im pretty much a natural at it. I got up and easily took the long trek down the mountain. When I got down I walked down the side of the wide long road for 5 minutes till I reached my house. It usually takes longer but I ran some of the way. I opened the door as silently as I could only to find my mom standing right at the door. I sat down and took my shoes off praying nothing bad would happen to me.
"You need to stop getting home so late and answer your phone! Thats why you have it! You make us worried! What if you got kidnapped or something and we wouldn't even know!" I listened silently to her endless lecture for the 10000 time. I walked up stairs slowly when I got stopped by my mom.
"You want dinner?" She said sternly.
"No," I mumbled. I continued walking up stairs and just I crawled into bed. I plugged my phone in clumsily and immediately fell asleep over the thoughts of today.

I breathed in tasting ash. Wait...ash?! I sat up straight in my bed panicking. I jumped out of bed and touched the door. It was burning hot.
"Holy shit," I whispered to myself. My parents! I grabbed my phone, yea I know. Disobeying the fire drill laws, but it didn't take much time. I pulled up my blinds but they fell down.
"God damn not now!" I got mad and my body was burning from the heat and nervousness. The ash in the air was getting thicker and I could no longer breathe. The last thing I could feel at all was my lungs filling up with ashes.
