"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" Mom yelled at Ethan and Grayson while I was sitting in the corner. Even though I was scared, I needed to speak up and explain.
"No no Mom they only did it to defend me!" I finally said.
"What are you talking about?" She asked. I swallowed and explained everything I could. It was a long story, but she listened and didn't question my past. She sighed and nodded her head.
"Im sorry Ash, I know you had a hard past," She said to me. She looked back at Ethan and Grayson and said, "Im proud of you boys for sticking up for people you care about," she said as they nodded.
"Just never throw the first punch!" She said sternly returning back to before. She smiled jokingly and nodded meaning we could go. We walked upstairs awkwardly into Ethan's room. I collapsed onto the rug and started rolling around.
"What are you doing?" Ethan asked laughing. I stopped rolling for a little when I saw Cameron under the bed with her finger to her mouth signaling me to be quiet. My eyes widened but then I got up pretending I never saw her. I got out my phone ready to record.
"Let's make a vine guys!" I said loudly making sure Cam knew what I was trying to do.
"Uh why?" Grayson asked, "we just got out of the scariest moment in our life."
"The fight wasn't that scary," I teased him.
"I WAS TALKING ABOUT MOM," Grayson exclaimed. I burst out laughing, that made more sense. I urged them to do the vine and they agreed, but Grayson wasn't next to the bed so I had to get him over here.
"Ooh ooh Gray I have an idea," I said secretly recording. He walked over and Cameron grabbed his leg quickly and started pulling. I burst out laughing at Grayson's panicked screams. He fell to the ground and just started twitching.
"OOH YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS SON!" Ethan yelled referring to when I did it to him. Cam crawled out from under the bed laughing.
"Man I guess we think the same huh?" I asked.
"Apparently!" Ethan laughed. I glanced at Cam and she looked confused.
"I did the exact same thing to Ethan yesterday," I explained with a big smile. She started laughing again and shook her head. Suddenly the word "shopping" popped in my mind again because of thinking about earlier.
"SHOPPING?!" I yelled still wanting to go shopping very badly.
"Alrighty," Gray said from behind me while wrapping his arms around my neck. I didn't even notice him get up from his seizure or whatever.
"Yea we never got to go," Ethan said agreeing.
"Shopping sounds good to me," Cam smiled. Everyone else except for Cam was ready so the rest of us waited in Ethan's room for her. Fifteen minutes later we all headed downstairs and told Mom where we're going. We burst through the door and sprinted to the car.
"SHOTGUN!" Grayson yelled loudly making sure everyone heard him. I pulled the handle to open the door but it was locked.
"Who has the keys?!" I panicked. I saw Cam fumbling with the keys in her fingers and finally clicked the unlock button. I opened the door as fast as I could but Ethan beat me inside. I clicked my tongue and sighed in frustration. Ethan and I were sitting on opposite sides with the middle open. I didn't really feel that nervous around him anymore so I just moved closer to him as naturally as possible. I saw him smirk slightly out of the corner of my eye while Cam started driving off.
"Cam can I have the aux cord?" Grayson asked. She silently handed it to him while her eyes were still on the road. Suddenly, One Direction blasted out of no where. My head perked up and my eyes widened. Yep, I'm a Directioner. I immediately started singing along until the song stopped. I frowned, "Heyyy! I like that song," I whined. "Oh ok good because I would have been embarrassed," Grayson turned around in his seat laughing. We all started laughing while Grayson turned on Midnight Memories.
"Same," Ethan chuckled. I smiled and shook my head looking slightly to Ethan. He was looking out the window so he didn't notice me observing his face. God he is beautiful. Yea, guys can be beautiful too you know. I sighed involuntarily but realized when Ethan looked at me and I didn't look away in time. My mouth opened to say something but I was at a loss of words.
"I um," I said quietly and just turned away blushing. He answered it with silence while I was scolding myself in my head. Suddenly, I heard a yawn come from Ethan and I watched him as he stretched his arms up and put one around me. Classic. He pulled me closer as I blushed and he just looked forward like he was innocent. I sighed mentally, this kid.
"We're here!" Grayson all of a sudden yelled aggressively. I looked at him in surprise and he returned it with a sarcastic smile. Okay then. We got out of the car and we all walked in a line into the mall.
"Ladies first," Grayson said holding the door open for Ethan. Ethan smiled and backed up.
"Right," he smiled as he got on the other side of the door and let me and Cam walk through. I looked around Macy and examined the clothes while the rest were mumbling behind me. I ran my fingers across a shirt while walking by. Gray, Ethan, and Cam caught up with me and matched my stride.
"Where to," I asked sounding like I was on a mission.
"You're the one that needs clothes," Gray laughed. My eyes widened remembering why we were actually here and I thought of all the stores I wanted to go to.
"Pink?" I asked looking at Cam since she probably wanted to shop too.
"Yea I was thinking that!" Cam agreed while the boys sighed in disappointment. I smirked and followed Cam to wherever Pink was. I walked in and immediately started searching for clothes. I inherited all of the money from my parents, but of course I'm not going to use it all on clothes. They had mostly winter clothes because it was December, which meant I'm only doing school for half the year! I found two hoodies, one jacket, three sweatshirts, and a lot of under clothes that I don't need to go into detail about. I used over $200 there and I really didn't want to use too much more. I walked towards the entrance with Cam to see Ethan and Gray with some fans taking pictures. I made eye contact with one of them and she started screaming.
"It's Cameron and Ash!" Most of the girls came towards us to meet us but some stayed behind with the boys. I started getting nervous I mean this has never happened before. Am I famous? Obviously not as much as the boys, but could I be?
"Can we make a vine with you all?" One girl asked loudly. She got yells in support from the other girls and I laughed nervously. I couldn't say no. She got out her phone and started recording.
"We love our fans!" Ethan and Gray said at the same time smiling at the camera. Cam and I had our arms around two girls and were giving a thumbs up to the camera. After the vine, they screamed a bit more and the boys got us out of the situation finally. We walked away and I let out a huge breath.
"Aha your a natural at handling fans Ash," Ethan said.
"Well they're your fans," I laughed nervously.
"They're yours too babe," He answered back jokingly. I blushed and looked at Cam to see her mouth half open and shock on her face. She quickly returned back to normal but still had a little smirk on her face. I smiled and shook my head at Ethan for calling me that and we all continued walking.
"Let's get foooood," Gray whined when we passed the food court. Ethan nodded his head violently and I thought about it.
"Cam?" I asked.
"Sure," she agreed easily. We walked around the food court looking for a place to eat until we settled on Chick-fil-a.
"I love my Chick-fil-a," Ethan said in a country accent. When it was our turn I got a little nervous. It might just be because I have buying nervousness or because I was afraid they would judge me on what I would order? I don't really know, maybe both. We all ordered what we wanted ourselves and found a table farther in the back. I looked through my clothes from Pink and the receipt while waiting for our food and the rest were on their phones. I looked up to see Ethan and Gray making weird faces into Ethan's phone and realized they were taking a snapchat video.
"Oh my," I muttered with a small smile.
"FOOD!" Gray all of a sudden yelled causing me to jump. I didn't even hear them call us. Gray ran to Chick-fil-a with Ethan on his tail. They came back carrying bags with our food and they dumped it on the table. They forgot there were fries.
"Nice job idiots," Cam mumbled trying to clean up the fries. Ethan and Gray sat down in embarrassment while I playfully hit them. I cleaned up some o the fries and started eating my spicy chicken sandwhich. After five minutes I looked over to the boys and they were already half way done! Dang, I thought. We ate in silence since we were all too hungry to talk. After we ate we just sat there on our phones for a little until Cam interrupted it.
"Where we going next Ash?" She asked still looking at her phone. I looked up at the ceiling trying to think. I needed pants, so Hollister.
"Hollister I think," I said because I didn't remember if Hollister pants were expensive.
"Yea there's one down there," Cam said standing up from the table. We walked to Hollister happily while the boys kept messing with me. They were pushing me and tickling me and it was hard not to blush.
"Okay stop," I laughed, "we're here!" I walked into Hollister and froze when I saw him sitting in the chair at the front. Not again. I started praying for myself.
