Chapter 3

Ethan's pov
Wow! She's so beautiful, but she looks so broken. I want to help her, I want to heal her. I can't believe she's gonna live with us. Would that be right for her to live with us and maybe...date her? No stop! I don't even know her yet and she probably has more important things on her mind then dating.
"Ahem," Grayson muttered elbowing me in the side and pulling me from my trance. My eyes widened, "Oh yea sorry," I said nervously while scratching my head.
"I'm Ash," she said with a smile.
"Ni-."
"You're beautiful," Grayson cut me off. I looked at him with the "wtf" face. I looked at her and she was blushing and looking away.
"You too," she said quickly and quietly. Her eyes widened and Grayson and I both laughed although I was still mad at him for beating me to it.
"I-I didn't mean it like that!" Ash laughed.
"Well if he's beautiful I'm beautiful too right?" I said waving my eye brows. She giggled, "Yes, you two are both very beautiful ladies." We all ended up laughing and she didn't seem as I thought. I thought she would be depressed and broken, but she was positive and happy.
"Do you guys have a dog?" She asked out of no where.
"Uh no Grayson's allergic to dogs," I answered.
"Aw, I love dogs they make me so happy," She said with a pouty face. I smirked at Grayson and he looked embarrassed because it was his fault we don't have a dog. His face lit up.
"We have a parrot though! His name's Gizmo," Grayson said cheering her up.
"Oh oh by the way, we bought you Cam's pants and um one of my sweatshirts for you so," I said nervously.
"Um who's that?" She asked.
"Oh she's our sister. She's 17," I replied. She nodded her head and I handed her the bag of clothes and the nurse started to talk again.
"Gentlemen would you mind leaving for a few minutes so Ash can change?"
"Of course," we both replied at the same time while walking out of the room. Maybe it's because we're twins. Man I hope my sweatshirt doesn't smell bad.
"She seems cool," Grayson said with his arms crossed. I looked at him a bit suspiciously but agreed.
"So you think she's pretty too?" I asked him quietly. He looked at me and nodded.
"Yea," he whispered looking into space. Out of the corner of my eye I saw our parents walking toward us. Me and Grayson looked their way at the same time.
"She's really nice," I said smiling.
"Yea she's funny too. Pretty happy for someone in a hospital," Grayson laughed.
"Yea she seems like a great sister," My mom said. Right...sister. I heard the door open and I turned around. The nurse walked out with Ash wearing my sweatshirt and Cam's athletic shorts. Her hair looked brushed and cleaner than before. I guess the nurse really cleaned her up. Ash hugged the nurse and whispered something in her ear causing her to smile.
"Anytime," I heard the nurse whisper.
I was a bit confused but forgot about it. We started walking down the hallway with Ash in between Grayson and I and our parents in front of us. When we reached the check in counter I heard an unfamiliar voice behind us. We all turned around and saw a boy that looked me and Grayson's age.
"Teagan?" He said grabbing Ash's arm and turning around. She shuddered away from him and my family just watched in confusion. I was ready to go though if he planned on hurting her.
"It's Mason, your boyfriend."
