Chapter 12

"ETHAN!" I yelled catching his attention. I waved him over to me and the girl glared. I gulped and walked to meet Ethan.
"You're my boyfriend play along," I whispered right before she got to us.
"Hey Ethan!" She said completely changing her voice to sound sweet.
"Hey Jessica," Ethan smiled.
"A little birdy told me that you and Ash, is it? Were you know a thing," Jessica asked. Ethan's eyes widened and I think he understood what I meant earlier.
"Yea, why?" Ethan said.
"Wait so like you two are actually dating?!" Jessica exclaimed.
"Uh yea," Ethan smiled nervously. Okay now that he got to the point I want to go.
"Ethan we should go we're going to miss the bus," I lightly tugged his shirt. Jessica rolled her eyes at me and walked away.
"Wooh," I breathed out as the heat in my heat face left.
"What did you do Ash?" Ethan laughed.
"She was being rude and got all up in my face so I told her we were dating to make her stop," I answered. I thought about what it would really be like to date Ethan. I would like that to be honest.
"Ash!" Ethan yelled in my face.
"What? What?! Chill!" I exclaimed.
"Dude I said your name like 3 times!" Ethan laughed.
"Sorry," I giggled, "what do you need?"
"I was just asking how your day was even though I was with you the whole time," he chuckled.
"Oh," I smiled climbing the steps onto the bus, "it was actually pretty good!"
"Good," Ethan smiled as we walked to our seats.
"Bro Ethan what took you so long!" Ryan yelled once we sat down across from him. I smirked and looked down so it wasn't obvious.
"Aha, just the ex," Ethan sighed. Wait what.
"The ex? As in you dated Jessica?" I asked my eyes wide.
"Yeah, it was for like a two weeks though," Ethan said flatly.
"Why?" I giggled a little happy that they lasted so short.
"Nothing," Ethan mumbled. Did I make him uncomfortable or something? Now I feel kind of bad. I looked up to see if Ryan or Grayson knew anything. Ryan was staring at us but looked away when I looked at him and Grayson was staring out the window. Maybe Grayson didn't hear the conversation. I was slumped down in the seat because I was tired and my arm was around Ethan's while I was leaning into his shoulder. I was trying hard to just block out all the noise. I bolted up when I felt Ethan fidget and he blinked at me.
"Wait were you asleep?" Ethan laughed.
"Maybe," I laughed along. He stood up with his bag and I finally realized it was our stop.
"Oh oops," I murmured to myself. Ethan chuckled and stepped back to let me go first. Such a gentleman I thought. My whole mind was just a heart face emoji right now. Grayson was at the bottom of the steps off the bus and he grabbed my hand helping me off gracefully. I started giggling because both of them are such gentleman and I just love it! I turned around and Grayson helped Ethan off like he did me. They were making lovey dovey eyes at each other.
"Ok then," I laughed.
"Ugh," I groaned. I started walking slowly and dragging my feet, over exaggerating how tired I was.
"You that tired babe?" Ethan asked from behind me. I blushed and mumbled, "Mhmm."
"Give me your bag," He told me.
"No problemo," I said dropping my bag off my shoulders. Suddenly I wasn't even standing anymore. Ethan was carrying me bridal style.
"Ethan, what are you doing?" I asked lazily. He didn't answer.
"Where is...where is my bag?" I asked drifting into sleep. I heard someone begin to say something, but I fell asleep in Ethan's arms before I could hear.

I woke up in Ethan's bed with Ethan on his phone lying next to me. I grabbed his arm gently and rested my head on it. Ooh so muscly. I looked at Ethan and he had a small smile on his face when I laid on his arm.
"I love you,"I blurted. I glanced up at his face and he was blushing and stopped doing whatever on his phone. I got off his arm and sat up.
"I'm sorry," I laughed nervously, "I was just in the moment and-" Ethan was kissing me. I was kissing Ethan! At first I was about to push him away because of instinct, but I caught myself so I wouldn't ruin this perfect moment. Kissing on his bed, oh yea. Ethan leaned into me and then he just ended up on top of me. He obviously wasn't going to go any farther though, and if he was I would stop him. I'm too young for that. After our little session. We just cuddled, staring up at the ceiling.
"I love you too," Ethan said, interrupting the silence. I smiled and snuggled deeper into him.
"Ash," Ethan said in an extremely deep voice, ugh.
"Yes babe," I smiled.
"Would you do me the honor, and become my girlfriend," Ethan laughed a little at his choice of words. I laughed with him and answered, "Of course."
