Chapter 81

Brice POV
I struggle in his grips; trying to kick him off of me.

"Hey babe." He sneers in my face.

"Rob get off of me. Did you not take your pills or something."

Anger flares in his eyes and he takes out a knife.

"HELP" I yell.

I feel the weight pulled off of me to see Alex throwing Rob to the other side and taking my hand helping me up to my feet. We race across the parking lot and get into his car. Rob gets up and starts running towards us.

Starting the car Alex steps on the gas and speeds out of the parking lot.

"I knew something was wrong with him." Alex says through clenched teeth.

"He tried to kill me" I breathe out in shock

"Just stay calm Brice. He's not gonna hurt you. Im gonna protect you." Alex says glancing at me.

My phone buzzes and I pull it out of my pocket.

R-ILL FIND U...I always find u ;)

"Oh my gosh" I whisper.

"What?!" Alex asks urgently.

Stopping at a red light I show Alex the text and he clenches his fists.

"Its not safe for you to go home tonight Brice. We need to get out of LA." He begins driving again

"Where will I go?"

"We Brice...we. Im not leaving you alone. I told you you're not fighting this battle....alone" he glances at me smiling and I give him a small smile back

"Sleep. Its gonna be a long drive"

I nod laying back in my seat and trying to calm my nerves and anxiety as sleep over comes me.

Im awakened by someone shaking me and when I open my eyes I see its Alex.

"Hey come on. I managed to get us a hotel under a private name." He says.

I look out my window to see we were in front of a bright lit hotel. Stepping out of the car I see a sign.

"Vegas?"

"Yea. We should be safe here." He says as we walk into the hotel.

He gets our room key and we go to the elevator going up to the highest level. Arriving to our room he swipes the key card through the door and we walk inside.

"I hope you don't mind. Its not as luxurious just in case someone tracks us they will most likely think Im in a huge suite." He explains setting the key on the small kitchen counter.

"No its fine" I say taking a seat in the small living room.

Alex comes and sits next to me.

"Im sorry all of this is happening to you." He whispers rubbing my shoulder.

"Its not your fault. None of it is."

"Well don't think its yours either." He argues

"I should call home so they-"

"No! You cant tell anyone where you are. That will get them involved and Rob will just go after them for information."He explains and I nod in understanding.

"Ill call up room service, try to find you something to eat cause I know that yogurt wasn't filling." He jokes and I give him a small smile as he kisses my cheek and walks off with his phone.

I stare at my phone and check to see that Alex isn't around.

B-hey Emma. Warn the crew about Rob. He tried to kill me today so I had to leave 4 a while. Do Not come looking for me. Just b careful. Ill b back soon.

I send the message before deleting it and shutting my phone off. Placing it on the table I grab the remote and turn the Tv on but I cant pay attention when a psychotic maniac is looking for me.
