Emma POV
"She's been going out every single night for the past two weeks." Angel says
"Yea she would go to class in the morning, go to the cafe in the afternoon, and then out at night!" Blessing states.
"I feel like Khalil really did a number on her." Hayden sighs
"He did a number on all of us nigga" Alfredo snaps
"Well its all cause of that Alex dude. I saw them come out of a hookah club recently. They've been going there a lot" Taylor explains
"Thats ridiculous..Brice doesnt do hookah." I shake my head
"Oh but she does babe." Za shows everyone a picture that was posted on Tmz of Brice and Alex hookah fest.
"It says they're dating." Angel reads
"But are they?" Blessing asks
"I honestly dont know but we need to start getting answers."I mumble.
Right at that moment Brice stumbles through the door with bags of clothes.
"Did you buy all that stuff?!" Angel asks in disbelief.
Brice hands the bags to Taylor and Za and removes her shades.
"No Alex did." She smiles.
"Wha- what? Is he like your new man now?" I ask
"No he's just being friendly." She shrugs.
"Yea I hope you still saying that when he buys you bags worth of birth control pills cause that nigga just wants your triangle" Alfredo says making the shape of triangle in the air.
"Look you guys said I should stop stressing over Khalil and that I should move on. Thats what Im doing. If you dont like it then too bad." She snaps grabbing her bags and walking upstairs.
We all stay silent.
"So...sushi?" Hayden suggests and we all shrug and nod leaving.
Brice POV
Elegant. Elegant. What to wear what to wear. I search through my closet of new and old clothes till I find a nice high low sky blue dress that is fitted at the top. I pull it out and I see a note attached to it.
"Thought u might pick this one for our date ;). - Alex xoxo"
I smile taking the note off and begin to get ready. I slide the dress on and grab some white heels. Curling my hair in the mirror I check the time. He'll be here soon. I grab my clutch and then make my way downstairs. Going into the kitchen I write a little note for the girls letting them know Ill be out a little late. They are all out on a triple date with the guys for sushi and mini golfing. Whatever.
I see the bright lights as his car pulls into our driveway and I make my way outside; locking the door.
Alex steps out of the car and comes to my side to give me a hug and kiss on the cheek.
"You look absolutely beautiful." He states looking me up and down.
"Thank you" I blush
He helps me into his car; lifting my dress as I get in like a gentleman; before getting in on his side and pulling out of our driveway.
"So what made you want to take me on a real date" I ask sitting back
"Real date?" He smirks glancing at me and then the road.
"Well yea. The past week we've been going to the hookah bar that I recently found out that you own and or to your sets for your movie." I explain and he chuckles
"Well lets just say that tonight is more special than the others" and with that the car falls silent as I ponder what could happen tonight.
It better not be sex. I really don't wanna fuck tonight. We pull up to a beach and I look at the beauty of it all. Stepping out of the car I see a table with rose petals all over it, a candle in the center, two plates of steak and pasta with glasses and a bottle of champagne. There were mini lights surrounding the area and I was just over all in awe. This is beautiful.
"All for you"he states
"Oh I said that out loud" I blush crimson and he chuckles as we take our seats.
Digging into our food we start small talk about his acting and my art. It was good cause me and Khalil barely ever had conversations like this and over the past week Ive grown close to Alex. I really do like him..not love him. When we are done eating I slip off my heels and hold it in one hand as Alex takes my other and we walk along the beach.
"So Brice. I think we've really made a big connection and its hard to come by women like you now a days."
I blush smiling.
"I want you to do me the honor of being my girlfriend."
I stop walking and he stands in front of me, looking me in the eyes.
"I want to be more than friends. I could give you the world Brice. Just be mine. I promise Ill make you forget about him."
I cant. I love Khalil..he's my everything but he did me wrong so I should move on...right?
