Khalil POV
So I haven't told Brice about where Shaun wants to have his party and I honestly dont know how....especially since its already friday..aka..the day of the party. I walk into the crowded club and I see Shaun with an out of place Angel on his lap.
"Happy birthday man" I say giving him a bro hug.
"Thanks man..im so turnt like do you see all these sexy ass women" he says licking his lips and Angel glares up at him.
"Babe its my birthday. Let me live a little" he shrugs and Angel rolls her eyes and looks away.
"Wheres the rest of the crew" I say, looking at some kids from our homeroom sitting and mingling around him.
"Bar and dance floor" he says taking a sip of his margarita.
I pat his back one ore time and playfully shove Angel as I walk over to the bar where I see Za, Taylor, and Justin
"Ayyye our man" Za says
"What up what up. Damn Justin, where you been these past few days?" I ask as he takes a shot and shakes his head.
"Just around." He says
"Nah he just couldn't stand seeing his girl be someone else's girl" Taylor . says slapping Justin's back.
"Just talk to her man..I mean whats the worst she could do" I state
"Reject me" he says lowly and then theres nothing but music playing as Za Taylor ,and I look at each other awkwardly.
"Well im gonna go find Brice" I say; slowly walking away.
"Aye wait" Za says pulling me back to face him.
"I tried warning Emma but she wasn't answering her phone...so be careful" he says lowly and I nod before walking in the direction of the dressing room.
I hear mumbles inside and a mans voice. I quickly go around the corner and wait for the door to open. As it does, a man ;Brice's dad; steps out of the room and walks back to the main room.
I quickly run up to the room and catch the door just as it's about to shut. I push it open and step inside; quickly shutting it.
When I turn around to face the girls I see each of them have slap marks and little cuts.
"What the fuck happened" I ask touching Brices cheek and she flinches.
"Dad happened and on top of that he knows mom is fighting for us so hes fighting back" Blessing mumbled; putting concealer on.
"Khalil what are you doing here and why do you keep showing up?" Emma grumbles
"Yea babe -"
"Everyones here" I say interrupting Brice and her eyes widen
Blessing stands up straight ," what do you mean by everyone"
"I mean everyone from school. They're here for Shauns birthday. Za said he tried to text you but you werent answering" I say looking at Emma
"My phone died" she explains.
"Fuck. If we go out there, Shaun will recognize us . Its different when he barely talks to us but since he dates Angel, we see him all the time!" Brice groans
"Well what are we gonna do. We cant just not go on. Dad will be pissed" Emma says slumping back in her chair.
"I have an idea...but its risky." I say and they all look at me; listening.
Justin POV
Me and the guys walk over to the fucking birthday boy and my girl on his lap. I clench my fists and then smile a fake ass smile as we approach them.
"Oh you guys finally decided to come over." Shaun says slyly
"Yea. Thought we might come keep Angel company" I retort
"We..or you" Shaun smirks
"Yea something like that. Wouldn't mind having her to myself." I smirk back at him and he glares; standing up and shoving Angel off of him.
"Might wanna watch your damn mouth-"
"Dont worry, ill have Angel do that. You don't deserve a girl like her" I sneer.
I felt myself get grabbed and closed my eyes; ready to feel the pain that would all be worth it, but it never came. Instead I hear a scream and I open my eyes to see Angel on the ground.
"You hit a girl!" Taylor says panicked
"Oh hell nah, I cant go to jail for this." Shaun says running out of the club and soon all the students start to pile out.
I help Angel up and look at the wound forming on the side of her face.
"Why did you do that!" Khalil says rushing over and checking out Angels wound.
"I didnt want Justin to get hit" She defends
"That wasn't part of the plan that I texted you guys" khalil says angry as he walks away
"Thanks for taking that hit" I scratch my neck awkwardly and she smiles
"I didnt want to see you hurt. Especially after all the things you just said." She smiles
"Well I've wanted to say all that and stand up to him since forever. Taking the punch would have been worth it and I'm happy Khalil set me up for it"
Angel laughs; shaking her head and giving me a hug which I gladly accept.
Khalil POV
"Ok the plan went well accept Angel ended up getting punched" I say and Brice faces me.
"Is she ok?"
"Little bruised but she'll be fine" I shrug
"Everyone from schools out and we are gonna head out too" I say
She nods and I kiss her.
"Love you"
"Love you too" she responds as I walk out of the room and back to the main entrance.
