Tom Felton: Live and Dangerous Tour

Part 20

Tom and the dancers were all in the rehearsals. They were plotting the spacing out for one of the numbers when Kyle picked up a mic and called Tom down off the stage.

"Take five everyone. We will pick it back up." Tom called out and headed over to where Kyle had set up his temporary desk next to the lighting and sound crew desks.

"What's up Kyle?" Tom asked taking a drink from a water bottle.

"I have a medical note from your Doctor. Kayla can't do the tour due to medical grounds." Kyle explained to him.

"What?"

Kyle showed Tom the email that he had just received from Dr Davidson. It told him that from immediate effect that Miss K.M Sampson cannot dance on the tour and is to be medically exempt. With her condition, she asks for a termination of her contract on medical grounds.

"This is BS! She has a bug that's all. I don't believe any of this. She's worked so hard to achieve everything she has dreamed of. So why is she backing out now?" Tom got his phone out and called Kayla.

"Hello?"

"Kayla, what happened at Dr Davidson's this morning? I have an email saying that you can't go on tour with us. What's going on?" Tom asked.

"I'm so sorry Tom." Kayla started crying.

"Kayla, please tell me what is wrong?"

"I can't Tom. I'm sorry." Kayla hung up the phone.

"Kayla?" Tom looked at his phone. He then called up his doctor.

"Can I speak to Dr Davidson please? Yes, I will hold." Tom waited patiently on hold trying to find out what has happened.

"Hello?" Dr Davidson answered the call.

"Hi, this is Tom Felton. You had one of my dancers in for a medical this morning. Then you send a medical note. What's going on?"

"I'm sorry Tom. I can't tell you anything without Miss Sampson's approval. I am bound by my oath as a doctor. You will have to speak to Miss Sampson herself."

Tom cut off the call.

He tried calling Kayla again. He got the answer phone again.

Chloe, one of the dancers walked up to Tom.

"Is Kayla, ok?" Chloe asked.

"I don't know. Chloe, you need to learn everything that Kayla has done. She's been medically signed off from the tour."

Chloe was stunned as to what Tom had just told her.

"Where is Kayla then?"

"I don't know Chloe. I am trying to find out. She's not answering her phone. I just want to know what is wrong with her!" Tom sat down looking at his phone and re-dialling Kayla's number.

Kayla had made it to Kings Cross station where she headed to book her ticket back home. She mentioned the reference number from the incident that happened three months ago. Kayla asked for the ticket to be an open return. She was told that it was for six months that she could return. Kayla accepted that and then asked what time the next train was back to Doncaster.

She got on board the train and was seated in First Class again. Her phone was ringing again. Tom again. She just rejected the call. After another five rejections, she blocked his number so that he couldn't call.

Another call came through, it was Chloe.

"Hello?"

"Hey girl. What in hell is going on? Tom is going stir crazy trying to get a hold of you."

"Yeah, I know. I have blocked his number so that he can't call me."

"Kayla, why have you left the tour last minute?"

"Can you keep a secret Chloe? I don't want you to say anything to anyone including Tom."

"Yeah sure."

"I'm going back home Chloe. I am going back to Sheffield to live my life with my unborn child."

Chloe was shocked to hear.

"You mean?"

"Yes. I am a month pregnant with Tom's child. I don't want this leaked out to anyone. I have an open return train ticket, so I will come down and see you towards the end of the tour."

"But Kayla, we are going to be in your hometown around when you are due to give birth." Chloe mentioned.

"Yeah, I know. Great timing and all that."

"So, this goodbye then?"

"Yeah, it is Chloe. Thank you for everything. I will keep in contact with you. Tell Tom that I love him so much, and that I am sorry that everything has turned out like this. I never asked for this to happen. Gotta go. I'm about to leave London. Thanks Chloe." Kayla hung up.
