.. He'd... Escaped.

Against all odds, Niseyama had survived the killing game and was finally free.

..The last damned Ishimoto would claim his rightful place as the heir..

After parting ways with other survivors, he made his way back to the mansion.

His home, where he expected to be welcomed back warmly.

Rain poured furiously down on the boy, as if to remind him that this wasn't a day of victory. It was one of genhine tragedy.

Many lives were lost on that train.

Those corpses.. Those executions.. They were permanently etched into his mind.

And Niseyama was no saint either.

He.. Killed someone.

He killed Japan's beloved model, Shin Katsuro.

And on top of that..

"Ren.." He whispered out softly, pausing as he came to the tall gates that barred out strangers from the mansion.

His own brother.

He witnessed the murder, caught Niseyama in the act.

The look of horror on his face as he saw his boyfriend's unmoving body as he finished drowning.

The betrayal, the fright, the anger reflected in his twin's yellow eyes.

Then the immediate switch to resolve to save his brother once he understood the situation.

Their plan.

The show they had to put on— it was pain staking.

Ren took his place and vice versa.

They were often at each other's throats enough to where they knew the former's lingo, body language..

They fit into their roles perfectly.

Ren died and Niseyama lived.

He knew damn well he didn't deserve it, but.. Here he was.

Niseyama pressed a button on the gates to and a familiar buzz greeted him.

"State your purpose." A monotone voice spoke.

"..Let me in this instant.." He hissed. "Let me in you incompetent piece of trash, or I'll have you fired and tossed on the streets.."

There was no answer as moments later, the gates opened.

The heir felt his legs burning and aching as he made way up to the stairs and found the double doors open.
