Trouble After Trouble...

After classes had finished on their third day, Albus had decided to go to the library with Lorcan to finish off their research in Transfiguration. 

Albus was just about to put his quill on parchment-

"Al!"

Albus looked around to look for the person who shouted his name. 

It was Rose. Rose quickly ran over to their table.

"Hey guys!" she said breathlessly.

"Shhhhhhhhhhh!!" Madam Pince glared in their direction.

"Sorry!" Rose whispered.

"Hey, Rose! What are you doing here?" Al inquired.

"I just came over here trying to look for you and tell you something important." Rose said grimly.

"Ok." Al said.

"Uhhh in private, Al." Rose said sheepishly. "So no Lorcan here......sorry!"

"It's ok..." Lorcan got up and walked off. "I'll go look for some books, Al."

"So. What would you like to talk about thaat is so important for you to actually physically run all the way over here?" Al asked. "And who told you I was in the library?"

"Well it's a long story..." Rose muttered. "I have to start over from the beginning. Scorpious told me where you-"

"Whaaat?! You actually talked to Scorpious?!" Al whispered. "What happened to my dear cousin Rosie?!"

"Shut up, Al!" Rose turned a faint pink. "It's just...I needed to know where you were ok?!"

"Heheehe. that means that you like Scor-"

"Shut up! Now I am going to tell the story! Ok so remember when we were in Potions on the first day of school and how I freaked out at those two snobbish dumb arses of girls? Well when the teacher came by and dismissed you guys for your next class I had to stay behind. And guess what happened!!"

"What happened, sweet cousin Rosie?"

"She gave ME a detention!! For one week!"

"Wait, WHAT?! That just doesn't make sense! Did those two girls also get detention? And why you?!"

"No! I even told the Professor what happened while she was on urgent business but she said that she was dissapointed in me for not trying to retrain myself from 'attacking' those girls! All I could say in my defence was that Charlotte had gotten purposely hurt by them and that she could ask anybody from class! She wouldn't believe me because right when I used that spell on the devils, she came in! What a dumb coincidence!!" Rose practically shouted earning another glare from Madam Pince.

"Calm down, Rosie! We're earning stares from everybody. I'm sorry to say this but you never get into trouble! At all!" 

"Yes, yes I know! It's just....detention on the first day is just so bad! I'm not sure how Mum and Dad are going to react! I'm sure they've sent some notices to home already! I just know that they'll be dissapointed in me!"

"It's going to be alright, Rose. I know it is. I mean the worst Aunt Mione and Uncle Ron could ever do is send you a Howler! I mean seriously, I don't think they would ever do that to you!"

Boy, was he wrong.

The next morning at breakfast, Rose recieved the biggest treat of her life- a Howler.

"I CANNOT BELIVE THAT YOU OF ALL PEOPLE, ROSE GOT INTO A FIGHT ON YOUR FIRST DAY! WHEN I SEE YOU FIRST THING I AM GOING TO SIGN YOU UP FOR ONE OF THOSE ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES AT ST. MUNGOS! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SPEND THAT MUCH TIME AT A HOSPITAL, ROSIE?! I THINK NOT!!! WHEN WE RECIEVED THAT LETTER-"

Rose had sunken all the way back under the table, trying to cover her ears while the Howler rang out threats and the whole school laughed at her. Charlotte was trying her best to comfort her friend but could not be heard over the loudness of the Great Hall.

"Just leave me alone, will you?!" Rose was running back to the dormitories.

"Rose, c'mon! We just want to help you!" Albus ran to catch up with her while Lorcan, Lysander, Charlotte and Scorpious trailed behind.

"Just leave me alone!" Rose ran to Ravenclaw's door, shouted clouds! as the answer to the riddle and then ran inside abruptly shutting the door behind her, leaving the five people behind.

"Well, looks like she's gone....I'll try to cheer her up." Charlotte sighed. "See you guys later. Lysander, you go on to class- we'll meet you there."

"Ok. See you later, Charlotte. Good luck." Lysander replied while re-organising his books.

"Thanks. Bye guys." Charlotte said as they all departed.

The Gryffindor trio all took the very long walk back to class without saying a word to one another.
