The Sorting Hat.

The Train had finally stopped. YES they were at HOGWARTS!

“Come on your too slow ladies, keep it movin'” said Lysander as he tried to get out of the train and onto the platform.

“Excuusse me, Mr I can do what I ever I want. You just shoved me out the way. You know I almost fell!” the girl said.

“Well if you don’t mind I’m going to introduce myself. My name is Elanora Rosebury. And if you would like to apologise that would be GRATEFULLY APPRECIATED!” Elanora said.

“Whatever.” said Lysander to himself as he walked away.

“What’s up?” Al asked Lysander

“Oh pff nothing just made a new friend. Her name is Elanora.” said Lysander sarcastically.

“Elanora Rosebury? Oh please.” interrupted Rose. “Nice try. You don’t want to get on her bad side.”

Charlotte finally joined them on the platform.

“Everyone alright?” asked Charlotte

“Yep cool” replied Al.

“Never better” said Scorpius.

Out from the distance an extremely tall man with a round belly, bushy beard (and hair) was walking towards them He was also carrying a lantern and he said:

“All yer firs years follow me please, all yer firs year follow me!”.

“WOAH he's gigantic!” said Lorcan

“Well I’m yeh haf gi’ant. Me name's Hagrid.” He said standing behind Lorcan.

“I’m I’m sorry I didn’t mean to offe-"

“Offend me? Don’t be silly kid.” Hagrid said as he cut off Lorcan

“Merlins beard. You’re a’rry Potter’s kid!” Hagrid said looking at Al.

“Yeah my name is Albus –

“Severus Potter. Yep I Know.” said Hagrid

“Blimey, I member when your dad and your mum was ere feels like yesterday. It really does” said Hargrid tearing up a little.

Anyways, everyone follow me. Get into groups of three and jump in one of ease paddle boats.

Al, Scorpius and Lysander jumped in a boat together, while Rose, Charlotte and Lorcan jumped in another. In a boat behind theirs were Elanora and her new friend Taya Niles.

Taya Niles was a pureblood. Her parents attended school before Al’s parents did. Taya had black hair and a brown complextion. Taya’s parents are very rich unlike other Wizarding families. Just like the Malfoy’s, the Niles family has had generations and generations of family members being sorted into Slytherin. So that’s where she will most likely end up.

After 10 minutes they arrived at the castle. A Professor came outside to lead them into the castle. This Professor was relatively short. His name was Professor Flitwick (the deputy headmaster).

Just before long, Al and Scorpius were facing the Hogwarts Grand Hall Door. Professor Flitwick led all the first year to halt at a big door.

“Now, each of you will be sorted into houses. These houses will become your family and friends for 6 years. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin are the names. If you all shall follow me into the GREAT HALL!” said Professor Flitwick excitedly.

“I’m hoping for Gryffindor” Charlotte  whispered into Al’s ear.

“Yeah me too” whispered Al back.
