Water is coming in by the gallon there's no doubt we're going down but for some reason I can't flee. The crew is jumping overboard or desperately trying to bail out the water. But we all know we're doomed, the cold water is rising ever higher yet I'm still glued in place. No matter what I do we're going down and a captain most always go down with their ship. But I don't want to I want to jump, I want to help my crew bail out the water but I can't I'm just stuck in place. No matter how badly I want to run I can't. The waters reaches my mid-thigh now the crew have all jumped ship, yet I still can't bring myself to leave. I don't wish to stand in the ice cold water awaiting my end. But I can't help it no matter what I do, I can't help but be my own death. So here I stand on a sinking ship the water up to my chest unable to move a captain who had no choice but to go down with their ship.
