First Love

~Part 7~

Taehyung's pov

I'm done with Hobi hyung. I just called him to ask whether Jin hyung is alright and now he created a whole mess there. Oh god, I will really kill him. Jin hyung is so dramatic sometimes. But also so sweet and caring. Taehyung smiled at his own thoughts.

After hanging up with Jin, he went to his room and opened his old albums. After the call, something was pulling him to the albums. May be the mention of 'bunny boy'. He was shocked when Jin hyung described his brother as a 'bunny'. Taehyung couldn't help but to let his memories flow back.

He knew why Jin was asking him to move on, but he really can't. He want to. Even he haven't thought, he will be forever stuck with his first love story. Somehow he felt relieved when he revealed his sexuality to Jin. Now he is sure, Namjoon hyung and Hobi hyung will also be informed about it and he don't have to explain the whole thing to them again.

He is proud of who he is. It was 'him' who made Taehyung realize his sexuality. It was 'him' who taught Tae to love himself. It was 'him'....

Taehyung even doubted whether the Jungkook Jin mentioned is his old friend....his first love.
But Jungkook never had a brother. He was a single child. So there is no way, the Jungkook who Jin mentions is his Kookie. He don't even had a cousin, especially someone who studied abroad and all. The only relatives of Jungkook whom he knew was Yugyeom. That was his uncle's (father's brother) son. He was the same age of Jungkook. Also Jin's brother is working in music industry. There is no way, the Jungkook he knew will have such a profession. He always wanted to pursue a career in business just like his parents.

Taehyung opened the album which is kept in his library. It is too old yet so beautiful. He turned the pages one by one. It's an album from his middle school, with his friends and family. He was turning the pages, when he suddenly stopped at one. He looked at the picture of a small boy with big eyes and bunny smile. He is so cute and pouting at the camera. Next one is of two boys smiling at each other. The same bunny boy and another boy with big ears and a boxy smile. Taehyung looked at them and smiled.

It's him and his Kookie. Taetae and Kookie. They were friends from a very young age. They met each other when they were in elementary. But it wasn't actually the first time. He met him before that, when he didnt even know his name or any other details.

He still remember the first time he saw Kookie. He was tiny and crying for a cotton candy in the park near their home. He fell down along with his candy. Taehyung felt so bad and offered him his candy. The boy smiled and thanked him. They played till evening, but didn't see each other again.

It was after few days, he met him again in school. It was their first day at school. Children were crying and screaming. He saw the bunny boy at the verge of crying too until he noticed Taehyung. May be the familiarity brought him to run towards Tae and hug him. They both found each other again in the midst of too many unfamiliar faces.

They became friends easily and was always together in everything. Their parents also became so close due to their friendship. They often spend time at each other's houses on holidays. They celebrated everything together. Taehyung was a year elder than Jungkook, but both were in the same year in school. Taehyung being his parent's pet stayed at home for a year more since he didn't want to go to school. But may be it was fate.

The thoughts about Jungkook was suffocating him. His heart was beating faster. He drank a glass of water and looked out. It was raining again. He loved rain. He loved to look through his window and see how the rain hits the pavement, how little birds protected themselves from the rain and took abode in the small bush near his garage. He loved to see the tiny drops that fell on his face through the wind. He loved how the cool wind touches his skin and gave him goosebumps. He loved everything about rain.

But each time it rained, he wished he was with someone, someone who can hold his hand and make him warm when the wind blows, someone who will hug him tighter and watch these together. Someone with whom he can cuddle under the blanket and can share their warmth. And his someone was always Jungkook..
