First Love

~Part 15~

Taehyung & his parents were late as he thought, but something felt off the moment he entered the mansion. He thought Jin will be standing at the entrance ready to scold him, but he was wrong. Servants picked up their luggages. Taehyung and his parents were greeted by Hobi and his wife. Taehyung was disappointed a bit not seeing his favorite hyung. He pouted as his eyes searched for him everywhere. Hobi understood who he was searching for.

"Taehyungah.. You don't seem like happy seeing your sunshine hyung. I'm hurt". Hobi said with a fake cry.

"Hyung.. It's not like that. I'm a bit tired from the journey and was stuck in traffic. Hi Noona, how's work in hospital going? Everything alright?"

"Yes dear, everything is going well here. We miss you a lot. I took whole day off today as we are all gathering here. And don't worry. I know who you are searching for. Your Jin hyung is in guest room with his cousin. I guess his cousin is having a mild headache or something. When I went inside, he was sleeping. I gave him some painkillers. Jin hyung was a bit off after that. He may be in his room"

"Oh.. Is that boy okay? I didn't knew he reached earlier than us here. I will meet Jin hyung then. Where is Namjoon?"

"Taehyungah. It's hyung for you. Why are you calling him as Namjoon and Jin as hyung. Try to respect elders". It was his mother.

Taehyung simply rolled his eyes and went in search for Jin. He passed the guest room and found someone sleeping inside. He understood it's Jin's cousin. So he just closed the door without making any noise and went to Jin's room. Jin and Namjoon were talking about something seriously.
He was confused what have happened here. Cause this isn't the way it was suppose to be. He started to listen to their conversation.

"Namjoon. I just want to know what he is hiding from me. I don't think he will tell those to me. We are really close, but may be due to that closeness itself he may be reluctant to share certain things. He consider you as his own brother. He shares things with you and he trust you a lot. I may be his blood, but you are someone he consider as his role model. Someone he always approaches for advices and shares his thoughts witb. Please talk to him afterwards. May be he will share things with you. I can't see him like this. He have been suffering silently about something.. I don't know what it is. But I know he is hurt and he is in pain."

"Jin hyung, Please don't worry. I will talk to him later. Let him sleep for now. Come, it's time for Taehyung, Dad and Mom to reach here. Don't worry. I'm always here for you. He is my little brother just like he is to you. Now come. Let's go"

Taehyung heard everything and was confused. Why was his cousin in pain? What was this boy hiding and why are these two so much worried? He ignored it and entered the room greeting the two.

"Jin hyung... Namjoon. Hi. Where were you hyung? I was searching for you everywhere. You didn't come to welcome me. You are so mean hyung. I'm coming home after months" He pouted.

Jin hugged him tightly and smiled.
"Aigoo.. Our Taehyungie is here. Hyung is sorry for not coming down. I didn't check the time. Where is mom and dad? Also, Taehyungie what are you eating there? You have become so thin. I will cook everything for you for the coming days. Stay here for a week. I know you don't have that much urgent things to do there.. And I won't accept the answer 'No'!

Taehyung smiled during the hug and simply nodded. He greeted Namjoon, had a small talk with both of them and went to freshen up. He was really tired from the journey.

It was late in the evening when Taehyung again passed the guest room. He thought Jin hyung's cousin might have woken up, but he was wrong. The boy was still sleeping on the large bed. Taehyung looked at the figure from outside the door and wondered what happened to this boy.

He don't know what came up to him, but he found himself walking inside the room to check on the boy and wake him up if possible. It was a little dark inside the room with the blinds. He moved the curtain a little bit and went near the bed.

Now he was close to the figure who was turning back and sleeping. Taehyung slowly called him.. "Hey it's evening. Is it time for you to wake up?"

But the boy wasn't even moving a bit. He tried again, but failed. So he took courage and started to shake the boy a little. Suddenly he started to squirm around and faced Taehyung, still in sleep. It's then Taehyung's breath hitched. The peaceful figure lying in front of him.. Those doe eyes, pouty lips, bunny face. It's him.. It's his Jungkookie.. His Kookie..

Taehyung was not moving an inch.. He blinked many times, pinched himself to come out of his dream. But he realized he is not seeing things, but it's Jungkook. He didn't know what to do. He wasn't able to process anything. So Jin hyung's cousin was his Jungkook? How come he never know about it? After these many years? How come Jungkook never told him about an older cousin? How come Jin never mentioned Jungkook much before? How he never asked the first name of Jungkook, even when he came to know Jin hyung's cousin's name is the same.

Never, not even in his dreams, he thought this would happen, that he will find Jungkook again, that too as his brother in law's cousin, more like Jin hyung's own brother. He stared at the sleeping boy. His face looked the same. He was still the same Jungkook he knew while sleeping. He was sleeping with his mouth parted a little, soft snores and messed hair.

Unconsciously, a small smile formed on Taehyung's face. He was happy to see his bunny after these many years. He searched for him alot, but couldn't find him. Later he stopped it, many years ago as he finally thought it's of no use. But fate brought them together, here in his own home, his Jungkook is sleeping peacefully.

But then only he thought what Jin was talking earlier. So if it was Jungkook, then what was his problem? What is wrong with Jungkook? Does he have any illness? What was hurting him? Why was he in pain? Taehyung got really worried. He looked at the boy's face and slowly, traced it with his long fingers. Without any warning, Jungkook opened his eyes. He looked at Taehyung like he found a ghost. He was beyond shocked.

Taehyung immediately withdrew his hands. He was also scared thinking about the boy's reaction. They both stared at each other. But then suddenly Jungkook started tearing up. Soft sobs were echoing in that room. Taehyung didn't know what to do. He started panicking.

"Hey Jungkook. Don't cry. I'm not gonna do anything. I'll just go from here. Please don't cry"

But the boy was not stopping. The room was filled with his hiccups and sobs. In between his sobs, he tried to say something and that went straight to Taehyung's heart.

"Tete, I know this is a dream. But please don't go. I miss you. Come back to me. Taehyungie hyung, don't leave me again".

Taehyung was beyond shocked to hear this coming from Jungkook. Jungkook missed him? He want Taehyung to stay? To not leave him? Was it him who leaved Jungkook? Wasn't it the other way? The boy think he is dreaming? Taehyung didn't know what to say. But suddenly he hugged the crying boy. The warmth started to spread in both of them. This was all they needed. This embrace was both of them yearned for so long. But both of them didn't knew. They missed each other, they loved each other, but they never realized it was each other, they wanted in their lives.

Taehyung whispered sweet nothings to Jungkook. Jungkook was hugging him so tight, he was hugging him like his life depended on him, like he may slip away if he loosen his hold. They stayed like that for few minutes and slowly both of them drifted off to dreamland.
