First Love

~Part 14~

Taehyung was busy driving home. He had to pick his parents too from airport before going to Kim mansion. Yes it is how he call his home. He never felt any kind of attachment to that huge building, he never thought of calling it as his home too.

His home is where he lives, away from the city, away from the busy crowds, away from the media & paparazzis, away from the burden of being born into a rich family. He is happy and content that he can lead a life without those hurdles, a life where he is no one, but just Taehyung without the tag of Kim, and V for his readers & publishers.

He know his parents & brothers doesn't like how he live, away from them. But they also know there is no use in forcing him, so they let him to do whatever he want to. For his parents, they already have someone to take over their business, Namjoon. And for his mother's hospital, they have their daughter in law. Hoseok isn't into business as much as like Namjoon, but he can deal some of their business and Jin is also very active in business along with their son. So for them, they don't have to worry about their company's future & other questions about who will take over the whole Kim group. That's another reason they aren't much bothered about their youngest son.

But they never ever thought he will leave business & moreover become a writer. Taehyung was the most enthusiastic one about business among all of their sons. Namjoon wasn't very interested at first but didn't had any choice. Taehyung was the one who always showed interest in their business, who used to take internships in their own company, he even planned to take majors in business. But none of them know what happened to that Taehyung.

They were shocked when Taehyung told them he want to go abroad and do his majors in Arts. They were against it at first, they were scared of media too. But after seeing his determination, they knew there is no way he will back away from his decision. After all he is also a Kim. Namjoon convinced their parents and prepared everything for Taehyung's admission.

Taehyung asked them he want to be just Taehyung and not to reveal his identity to anyone. He lived in LA just like every other normal person. He worked part time in a cafe where he met his friend, Jimin. He was also a major in arts, who specialized in contemporary dance & music. Taehyung's specialization was in music & literature. They both had music as common course and met often from university, but never talked to each other. It was then Taehyung got a job in nearby cafe and he again met Jimin from there. They became close and rented an apartment together.

He was afraid that Jimin will identify him, as Jimin was also from Korea. But to his surprise Jimin didn't knew anything about him at all. And they became close very soon. The only person he had was Jimin. But even then, he was not ready to reveal himself to Jimin, as he was scared once he will know who he is, & how powerful is his family, Jimin will eventually leave him.

It was months later, Jimin found himself who was he. He was mad at him for not telling him as he considered himself as Taehyung's bestfriend. But to Taehyung's surprise, Jimin was so cool about it. He accepted Taehyung, as his bestfriend Taehyung rather than the youngest heir of the Kim Corporation, of South Korea.

Taehyung felt more close to his bestfriend & soon they become soulmates. There is not one thing that they don't share with each other. Jimin supported Taehyung's wish to become a writer and encouraged him. He started to write lyrics, which later they  together compose & produce. That was one of their hobbies. They both were close to each other as well as to music.

He was stuck in traffic for few minutes now, & his thoughts were roaming here and there. He was sure now that he is late and can't imagine how Jin will react. Eventhough Jin and him are close, he is scared to make Jin mad. He knows what will be the result of it. He was losing his patience but luckily vehicles started to move again & he raced to the airport as fast as he can. He was so disturbed during the whole ride and somehow he was so nervous & restless.

He turned on the radio & started listening to one of the newly released song by the artist JK. He somehow related himself to the lyrics of this artist and liked his voice. He found this song few days ago when it played in radio. He drived to the airport humming to the song slowly.
