Tubbo POV:

'So this is what going down hill feels like'

I thought as my dad finished telling me he's already booked my a place at ender high, despite all my wailing and shouting about wanting to go elsewhere he still went behind my back, claiming 'he knows best' or 'it's his money his decision'.

I sat in my room crying for hours. Lani came in and spoke to me but I just dismissed her attempts at making me feel better.

But now I was in a car with my parents driving towards the place I would be spending the next few years.

It wasn't a bad place, in fact it was one of the best in the country but it didn't feel right. I wanted to be with ranboo.

I checked in at the reception and made my way to the dorms, it was nerve wracking but I put on a brave face at least, my parents continued to chat to the receptionist whilst a moved away.

A practically crawled into my new dorm room, trying my hardest to lift the heavy bags, as I opened the door the literal weight on my shoulders got lifted as someone picked up my bags.

"So you're the greenie?" A man asked

"Excuse me?" I responded staring at him lift my bags with ease, then placing them down on a bed and looking though them

"Hey! That's my stuff" I shouted

"Well we're gonna be stuck together for quite some time. So it's important for me to know you, and what better than looking through your stuff" the man smiled

"You could I don't know. Just ask me questions. I don't even know you're name!"

"Oh it's Derek" he smiled

"You got a girlfriend?" He asked

"Seriously, the first question you ask me is if I have a girlfriend?"

"I'll take that as a no then" Derek smiled

"Correct I don't have a girlfriend. However I do have a boyfriend" upon ushering the word boyfriend Derek seemed to get immediately interested

"Oh no" he said

"What?"

"Does he go to this school?" He asked

"No he goes to block high"

"You're gonna have to end that relationship then" derek sighed

I began to laugh "what do you mean! We have phones we can text, and I can visit him on weekends or something" I got out through giggles

"I'm afraid that's not true. Unfortunately this place swarms you with homework so you can't use your phone and it has a very strict leaving policy, you're only allowed to leave campus for hospital or Christmas" derek said placing his hand in my shoulder "I had to break up with my boyfriend last year because of it" derek sighed once again.

"We can make it work. He loves me and I love him!"

"That's what I said. Trust me it'll be easier"
